Nice! But wow, you barely drove it!
Hopefully some of those miles were really exciting ones. :) Ever make it to Sebring?

Yeah, it was my fun car, so every drive was pretty fantastic. I work from home, and we have a little G, so it was only used for the occasional weekend drive where I was alone or just with the wife - or an occasional school pick up :D. It was mostly stock, just had a few bolt ons, wheels, some suspension work, a few audio components. Really stunning with 18" wheels and a little drop (It was silver with red/black interior).

I have run Sebring a number of times, but never in the S2K. I was there with two different Vettes and my [4th Gen] Supra.

last owner was little old lady.

she drove to tesco and back once or twice a week.

saw so little use battery died twice and was replaced.

have paper work to prove.

That's the kind of car I always look for. I'm still driving a 2000 Chevy Prizm (that hybrid they did with a Toyota engine in it, built in Fremont when Chevy-Toyota still had that gig going). It was owned by a woman who just commuted from suburb to city; I got it in 2006 w/ only 70k or so highway miles on it. Since I don't commute to NYC now, so no longer put 30k miles a year on a car, more like 5k, the thing has been a great pick, about all I've ever done is change the oil and brake pads. LOL and hit a few deer six and eight years ago, but they didn't total the car since it had been nicely maintained inside and out, they went ahead and sprang for the bodywork. The iron worms will take it before it starts springing stuff off the top end of its secret shopping list, probably. So far so good. We joke wondering what is the Chevy part. I figure maybe the glovebox?

People keep asking if I want to sell it.. hell no but I'm starting to prowl around for my next one. It usually takes me three or four months to round one up, maybe longer now if people are keeping cars longer again, which I heard was the case. I have a feeling I'm going to experience some sticker shock since I paid $5300 last time around. It's been worth it.

My fiancee drives a 1992 Ford F150 automatic with the straight 6 engine (Not 4x4). It's got almost 400k miles. Surprisingly original transmission and block. It's a tank. Seriously.

my other car is even older but outside the years of this thread limits.

1972 austin 1300 vanden plas princess.
or also
1966 austin 1100

All automatic as I am partially disabled.

I think you win unless someone here has a really old collectible. Oldest vehicle I've driven was my fiancees parents old Chevy Celebrity. It's like a 1982 (or 83).

newest car I driven was 2004.

however after 1 year it decided that it no longer needed and engine and blew up.

it was on HP was still paying for a dead car a year later :(
but all done now and love my 1998 alto.

but it is actually a 1989 maruti 800, which was still being made in india but as a suzuki alto, they just fitted a bigger engine and exported them to rest of europe.

all my windows say "maruti" in the corner.

I currently own three trucks. Good ol' America! I'm 19, owned 5 trucks. Never have I owned a car and do not plan on it. I haul trailers all the time and I could care less about fuel milage, all my trucks range from 10-15mpg. If I had to own a car it would be a Chevy SS Sedan.

2003 Ram 2500 QCSB, 4X4, 5.7 Hemi, 545rfe, 149k. My father bought it new and when my 98 k1500 was totaled in June I bought this from him.

1989 Chevy K2500 ECLB, 4X4, 5.7 TBI, SM465 4-speed, 99k. Bought it since it had a blown engine. Currently swapping the 350 for another one. Just a beater truck.

1994 Chevy K1500 ECSB, Z71, 6.5 Turbo Diesel, 4L80e, 305k. Another project. I'm probably going to sell it since I bought the 89. It's a junkyard project!

Here I buy car for fuel economy due to pricing.

our fuel is 113.9 pence per litre.

my alto returns 43-45mpg town/suburban and 47mpg highway.

plus here in UK high tax for big engines.
also high tax for high emissions.

So smaller cars more popular.

But i personally love old "yank tanks"
old yanks cars are great to look at.

There are a ton of those big trucks here in Texas. Drives me crazy because not everyone can actually drive/park them.

I have a 2 door 13' Toyota Yaris myself.

think in US big trucks and cars are ok as fuel is quite cheap.

not here, quite expensive.

I love tiny cars too.
I would love a japanise Kei car.

my current alto is based on a kei, a "servo"

I was very sad when I found out new Yaris models were being made in France. Mine was made and assembled in Japan. I like my vehicles U.S. or Japan made and assembled. It severely limits my choices.

Thankfully this car didn't get driven much and I think I won't be in the market for a while yet.

The cars here seem to be getting bigger and bigger, I like you, prefer small cars.

some students did a project i read some where and made a life size card model of the original mini.

it will actually fit inside a stripped shell of the new bmw mini one!

My was fun (but also problomatic car) was a quadracycle.
In was a microcar mc1 4 seat version.
in UK can drive on a motor cycle license!

I've got a 2004 Monte Carlo with the supercharged 3.8L as my primary driver. Somewhere around 83k miles. I don't really see it as an 'old' car. It's paid off, gets reasonable mileage(20 city/29 hwy), and other than the standard maintenance that vehicle ownership entails I haven't had any abnormal problems.

I'll more than likely keep it through the end of this decade; or at least until I finish up my time in the service. I'd rather not have to worry about shipping a brand new car through the contractors that Uncle Sam dictates.
