There is a line to draw in regards of including minor sexual orientations. Asexual is one thing, but other fetishes are different: unless the fetish is extremely specific (I.E., only feet or balloons or whatever is the fetishistic object can make the person sexually aroused), it is a subset of either heterosexuality or homosexuality (for example, the person would be attracted to women's feet only). There could be a "fetishistic only" option which I believe could represent accurately the different realities (but again you'd have to include mild fetishes in their respective orientations, my attempt to solve the problem is not that effective ).

Fetishes don't define your sexuality, they aren't related to sexual orientation either.
Do you also wonder why anyone would drink Pepsi instead of Coke? What about men who prefer brunettes over blondes, or dark skin over white? My point is that people have their own tastes and it is very arrogant to imply that someone who does not like what most other people like is strange or weird for it.

You don't need to be gay to understand that approximately one in ten people are gay. You can find similar patterns of homosexuality in the animal kingdom if you do any research on the subject. In terms of causes for homosexuality, there is an ongoing argument between those who believe it is the result of nurture (events in your childhood influence your sexual orientation) and nature (your sexuality is predetermined by the biology of your body and brain).
Nothing against you, but I can't imagine any gay guy wanting anything to do with you.
Sexuality may have its mysteries but enough has been written about it for us to understand it a little better than most of us understand infinity, dark energy, parallel universes, etc. Saying that human sexuality is beyond our comprehension is more or less the same thing Comic Book Guy once said: "Human contact: the final frontier."
