Bought the ESR one as well, though will probably buy some sort of film protector in a couple of months.

For the people wondering which one to buy know that apart from a very small couple of companies almost all the tempered glass protectors come from the same couple of factories so cheapest is usually the best option.
I agree. I change the protector out every few months to get that new protector feel again. I’ve been happy with the cheap ones off Amazon.

Absolutely. I’ve gotten them since my 1st iPhone (which was the 3GS).

This time I’m gonna try a Belkin UltraGlass Privacy Screen Protector.

Why the privacy screen protector? I've heard they dim brightness of screen when looking at it directly...

so frustrated. i bought a Bodyguardz edge 2 and noticed a hair or fiber under the glass. so i bought a pack of esr glass protectors and just can’t get a perfect instal. the esr seems identical to bodyguardz so save some money and just buy esr. right now i see some specs of dust i guess under the screen. kms. i am so anal, im sick of this. might just go protectorless. i do have applecare so i could just pay for a screen replacement in the future.

They are only around 20-30 and the lifetime exchange seems worth it to me just paying 5.99 to ship

You can get a three pack for half that price and the quality is the same. The math just doesn’t work. But of course you should buy the one you prefer.

Is Spigen good then? I’m not sure it’s even necessary. I just have used the UAG case and no screen protector on my X and haven’t had any issues.

Spigen. ESR. Or just check Amazon ratings and find one with 5 stars.

doesn't the screen protector ruins the touch interface feeling and create a layer between your finger and the screen?
I have never used screen protector and all my screens are fine.

Sure they got some scratches here and there after years of use but! I don't handle them well, they almost slip and drop everyday...with ceramic shield for iphones it seems there is less need for screen protection unless you plan to resell your device as 100% scratch free phone which I don't believe will add much to the after sale value.

I got 2 glass screen protectors with a dbrand skin. Also might try out Spigen EZ Fit screen protector.

I had to buy a Zagg the other day for a family member and the fingerprinting/smudging non-oleophobic is pretty bad. Plus of course the cut out at the top.

The Body Guardz is much better with finger printing/smudging.
