Rumor mill is churning!

Sadly this is one release I'm not losing sleep over.

The bastardization of Spaces and Expose into the Frankenstein child called Mission Control is enough to keep me away from Lion for a while (if you have the GM, for giggles open 16 spaces and then try to efficiently close them. Or open Safari, go full-screen, press Command-N a few times to add full-screen windows, then Command-W to close them each in succession). Mission Control is indeed a clusterf*|< when lots of apps are open.

If I do upgrade it'll be on a secondary machine after the .2 or .3 dot-release.

Always been a early adopter and don't intend on changing so will definitely be getting it on release. For the price it is going to cost it'd be daft not to. If I don't like it then I can always revert to SL. Have read posts where people love it and some hate it, especially Mission Control but would rather try it and make up my own mind.

Have always done a clean install in the past, going to just do an upgrade this time.

Nope. I'll let them work the kinks out of it before I install it on my MBP. I like being an early adopter in most things, but this is one of those situations where my computer is too important to use as a guinea pig for a new operating system.

That, and Apple's servers are going to be witnessing armageddon tomorrow :p.

Got it ... Installed it ... And now try to sleep because it's night in Tokyo.

I kinda like Lion with Trackpad ... Looks nice right now. More tomorrow after sleep
