He needs a bigger arm first. Can do that with the 6s
I want to see the final design, features, and price before deciding to buy.
That sounds like a winner. If this is correct what will your stance be?
"While the iPhone 5se’s body will be nearly identical to the 2013 iPhone 5s, the new smartphone is said to include Apple’s latest A9 and M9 processors, an NFC chip for Apple Pay, support for always-on Siri activation, the iPhone 6’s camera system, and the ability to take Live Photos. The device will come in the same colors as the 6s, according to sources: gold, rose gold, silver, and space gray."
Yeah, and after the 6th month you can make the last 6 payments if you want to change phones. You need to make 12 payments in order to upgrade..
I really want a 4" phone, and I'm fine with the rumored specs, but it's hard to commit with a redesign just a few months away. It makes me wonder how often this line will be updated and whether or not there will be w full spec'd 4" iPhone 7.
I have a 6s plus and am in the Upgrade Program, so I'm anxious to see what the options are.
Agreed, and that's got me stuck in the middle of wanting a smaller flagship phone. Maybe I should have gotten the 6s.The rumored "redesign" is basically not one. The 6/6s without antenna bands on the back. I know it is early, but it seems like rumors nail it in the last few years.
I also think apple will keep 4" phone updates at 2 years at the earliest. I am sure they have noticed how long people have kept the 5S
The rumored "redesign" is basically not one.
God I HOPE it's not a re-design!
I so totally prefer the 5s casing & button locations over the 6/6s style. God I had that power button location on the 6/6s. It's dreadful.
While I do prefer the 5s design, if it's more similar to the 6 design then I won't be complaining. More important is the fact that it'll be the size of the 5s. Depending on which rumors you believe, it'll be similar to the 5s design but taking on the curved cover glass from the 6. That sounds good to me.
The press "area box" where it registers a touch is really stupid. It's not your phone. To register taps in iOS you have to place a big fat finger right over what you want to select. There's no "pointing" like there is in Android.Just wasting my time posting this.
I liked android phones but all of them got too big and lacking a changable battery was enough for me to get a 5s a few months ago simply for the size and to give Apple a shot. I love this phone. Its small, its beautiful. The screen is a tad small (4.3 is ideal and I'll get to that later), and thanks to its software it sips battery, but I'd still like to be able to change the battery.
However the software sucks. I just dont like iOS. The touch screen isnt very responsive at times. I dont know if its an app hanging up or its just being a pain in the ass. Im just running safari. I gotta press, double and triple press, turn it off, exit the program, restart it and pray to sometimes have a button pressed. I switched on my old Galaxy S4 and its like the phone was an extension of my thoughts. The music app is straight garbage compared to Androids stock music app. I can shuffle a playlist on android but I can only shuffle my library on the Music app.
Overall Im psyched for the 5se. Though I dont like iOS I've managed to get used to it and I would imagine that my touch screen issues are an anomaly. Since its not a flagship phone I hope Apple takes some liberty and adds a 1mm of thickness and give us a few hours of extra battery. I hope it sells well so Android manufacturers see an opportunity to make a flagship quality android phone. Dont know what happened to the Galaxy Alpha series, Samsung really had their **** together there but Im guessing internal politics pushed it to the back burner.
My ideal phone is the Galaxy S2 with a 1080p screen. I loved that phone. Gingerbread 2.3 was so lean compared to android 4.0. After I got an S4 I was like "eff this I want my S2 back" or even a galaxy alpha with a changeable battery. Hopefully the iphone 5se gives me what i want or galvanizes android manufacturers to give me what I want.
Nice idea. 550 now, 450 in fall. I'd vote for that.I'm betting a $550 price point if it has 2GB and an A9: 1) Buyers could then decide if size or internals were more important since the 6 is $550. 2) It gives a ready tiering of phones when the 7 is released - 7, 6s, 5se. But I'm wondering if it will stay $550 in the fall, since the 6s would likely fall to that price. What I don't see is the 5se and 6s being offered at the same price, either now or in the fall. Another logical possibility is $500 now and $450 in the fall for a 5se with 2GB and the A8.
