Yes I'm ready to be sat in front of my computer hitting refresh, refresh, refresh on pre-order day :D

Hopefully you are not a Sprint customer. Otherwise you will be waiting a very long time. ;)

No I'm in the U.K and buy direct from Apple unlocked on pre-order day.
That's good. Usually the Sprint "I ordered, it shipped, waiting for it's arrival, etc" thread is the last one to be unstickyed.

Last year deliveries for Sprint customers in that thread ran into November.

The only issue i usually have is getting onto the page, last year by the time I got on to Apple's page and added to basket my jet black iPhone date had already slipped to 3-4 weeks. I'm hoping this year I can get the 8/Edition sooner.

You lucky people.

I can't order mine until November. Delivery will then be early December :(

My iPhone 6s Plus is still strong. Can easily fight for another year!
Seriously though, I kinda regret to choose to buy an iPhone rather than iPad right now given the tremendous revamp of iOS 11 for iPad. But, well, this is life.

Been though so many of the iPhone introductions it is hard to be as excited as in years past. All I want to do is get it ordered and move on with life. Sorry but it is just not a big deal anymore.

lol sounds like a chore. why are you even ordering it? seems like a waste of time and money if it doesn't bring you any joy..

I haven't ordered anything the moment a new model of an Apple-product was available. How long after the announcement should I expect to get my hands on a 7s if ordering it as soon as possible? Does Apple normally have a batch ready for sale at the official launch?

I think you are misunderstanding @Newtons Apple

It's the process that is not bringing him any joy. Frankly, after the first time I don't see why it would. But in any case, the device itself is not what he means.

Although he'd probably argue that the device is a tool so getting joy from a tool might be odd.

I'm definitely ready. Setting my alarm for 2:45 a.m. on September 15 to place my pre-order as soon as the store goes online.

def not excited.. iphone 8 seems bland. I'll give the keynote a chance though. However, at this point I have my eyes set on the Note 8.
You must be new here. I recommend seeing what the iPhone 8 is predicted for as well as iOS 11. Clearly you haven't read any of that.

1. Hope that ordering the moment pre-orders are available means you get a phone on launch day.

2. Hope that Apple doesn’t take the piss with the price and the entry level is no more than £999 / $949 UK.

3. Hope that all models have black fronts.

That’s all.

I've been here since 2011. I own a 4s, a 5, a 6s+ and an iPad Air 2 with a range of iOS from 6.1.3 to 10.3.1.

From the pics I've seen it appears to be another iPhone I'm going to avoid buying just like I did the 7/7+.

I've personally had the 4s+, 5, 6+, and 6s+. Both my 5 and 6+ had "issues" and were promptly replaced by an Apple Store for free. My 4s+ and 6s+ were/are problem free and have been the best phones I've ever owned.

I'm getting older (and wiser?) because I don't want the latest and greatest anymore. For one, I can't afford it. I'd rather get a year old device for a little cheaper that is solid and keep that for a few years. Planning on doing that with my 6s+ for now. Tho, spending $1xx to get a new phone next month on the Apple Upgrade Plan sure sounds nice.

I'm ready to watch people camping out on my Samsung Note 8 arriving this week. If it doesn't work out with the Note 8 then I am ready to watch these same people on my 6 plus...
