Are you skipping work or school or your own wedding on Friday?

iv got friday and saturday off work due to going to a concert friday night
just lucky it sits on that day so i can wait in all day and play all saturday!! :)
 
Nope. just an ipad. I've already had 2. I'm losing no sleep over the wait.
 
Nope. My office is 1/4 mile down the road and I work from home often.

Not giving up my earned vacation time to receive a package.
 
I have the day ff as a rostered day off, but I am getting my iPad delivered to work...

I am actually going to the Apple store closest to my house, and buying an iPad2 for my wife's aunt.

If my new iPad is delivered on friday, I am getting a colleague who lives close by to bring it to her house and I will collect it from her after I fight the crowds at the Apple store and eat some delicious dumplings at the Shanghai dumpling place near the Apple store!
 
I foolishly didn't pre-order in time, so I have to go wait in line. What time do you guys think I should get there? I was thinking 4:00am-ish. It's going to suck big time, but I took the day off so I can do it...

Either way, that should be early enough, no?

So what time are you thinking of going? I'm trying to figure out a reasonable time to get there. And on top of that, I'm trying to decide if BestBuy or the Apple Store would be the best bet.

With the iPad2 launch, I got to the Apple store about 4:40pm, and in doing so, was about 40th in line, but I got mine easily, just had to put up with the waiting for everyone to go in one by one, when I got to about 10th in line, I found out a Hi-Fi shop downstairs (JB HiFi) had heaps in stock, and no line... I really wish I had just walked to their store, but unfortunately, the urge to be applauded on entering the Apple store was too much for me!

So 4:00am is probably a little ridiculous...maybe 6:00 would make more sense.
 
Delivering straight to my workplace! Plus my work is IT oriented so I can try out the iPad while at work with no problems!
 
Nope gonna be stuck in a clean room when my shiny new toy is delivered to my parents 50 miles away, to make matters worse I also have to work on Sunday. Damn biotech. Damn it to hell!!! :)
 
I'm a full-time telecommuter, so I'll be home whenever it's delivered. If Apple ships the iPad via UPS & my workload permits, I'll take the day off because UPS delivers here at 9:30 a.m.

If it ships FedEx, I'll work a full day because they usually deliver later in the day.
 
Well... I work for UPS so im def. going to work, Apple boxes are easy to spot, so im guessing im gonna get an iPad on friday even though I didnt order one... :p

From talking with my local Apple Store staff, 4a if morning launch, noon if 5p launch.
 
Having it delivered to my Mom's office, but luckily I'm done teaching about 1pm. ;) Can't justify the day off, its the first week of the quarter. :(
