Will you be getting an iPhone 8, 8 Plus, or X? If not, state why and which iPhone you have that you'll be keeping or which other phone you'll be getting instead.

Ordering the iPhone X when it's available. Currently own the 7 Plus and I think the OLED model will be more noteworthy for the upgrade I have been looking for.

I have had a 6S for two years. I am doing a "one year upgrade" this year. I'm undecided between the 7 and the 8. I will probably just go to the store next weekend as these phones will likely be readily available. I intend to buy whatever the latest phone is late 2018 and keep that for two + years.

For right now I put "no". I want to see some hands on reviews of the X first. I can't get over the little notch thing at the top it just looks so odd to me. :(

No for now. I love my iPhone 6s. Does everything I need it to. $1000 for a new phone, no thanks. I think the killer part for the presentation was the augmented reality

I have a 7 Plus, and was definitely going to upgrade if the X had 128 GB for $999. At $1149, with the notch and possible beta nature of the device, I think I will probably pass and wait for next year's. As for the 8, it feels like a minor spec-bump of the 7. I don't consider wireless charging to be much of a feature, especially when it requires an additional purchase to use. Honestly, I think this was Apple taking the chance to implement a price increase.

I said No, keeping my current 7. My only dilemma is that I'm in the upgrade program and will be paying the same money each month anyways. For a few dollars more each month, I could upgrade to an 8 with less storage. Don't think its worth it this year. Had they kept pricing and storage sizes the same, it wouldn't be a choice since I'm already spending the money each month. Will be the first year since the iPhone 3GS that I haven't gotten the latest iPhone. Definitely not paying the price for the X.

Keeping my current phone until my contract is up, then either getting the 6s or 7 because financially I just can't afford the 8.

Keeping my 7 Plus. I'm holding out for ProMotion. I don't think they did enough to differentiate the 8 from the X from a usability standpoint. I reckon that's by design. They don't want people to feel lousy about their iPhone 8 purchases. The form factor is cool but not enough to pay a premium for it. If it did a few things the iPhone 8 couldn't (like ProMotion) I probably would have jumped on it.

I would love to upgrade my 7+ 128gb to the new X, but they offering only 64gb and 256gb, no middle ground, that to me is just an insult, 128 was the sweet spot for me, also I am not sold on first gen face ID, I will wait for the following year to see if there are any real improvements, maybe higher refresh rate and more responsive multitasking.
Wireless charging is not a must for me, I use heavy cases so most of the times that wouldn't work.

Not upgrading. I want a 4 inch iPhone upgrade. A better iPhone SE. That does not exist so looks like I'm not upgrading.
If the 4 inch iPhone is RIP in terms on upggrades, I'll just make the SE last as long as I can before I upgrade to an iPhablet.

No. The price is just insane!

Sure I could afford it, but I just cannot justify it. Might pick up a 7 or 8 Plus, unless I decide to try the GS8.

$1149 for the X! The new 8, plus is heavier (7.13 oz to 6.63 oz) and cost $180 more then 7 plus. For what? 128 gb storage, true tone & "bionic" processor.?? I'm keeping my JB 7 plus for a while...

I was dead-set on the X, but now I'm really considering going for the 8+ instead - or keep my 7.
It's nearly 1,6k€ here with AppleCare. That's madness!

Happily using my 256 GB 7 Plus for another year. There was absolutely nothing in that keynote I couldn't live without. But the iPhone X is a nice glimpse into the future of iPhone. Maybe next year's X update (XI?) will get the 120 Hz screen refresh rate of the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil support.

I'm still undecided. I upgraded early for the Red iPhone , not sure I want to spend more to get the X. If I do it will be the gold , 256.

At this point I'll just keep my current device.

There's a lot that I like about the X, but I really don't want to be a beta tester for the new line. I still love my 6S and I figure I'll just let other people figure out all of the bugs with the X.

Plus if I wait until the X2 I'll end up getting 3 years out of my current phone, which I think is pretty good. In my view there really isn't a need to buy a new phone every year.
