Upgrading my 6s+ to an 8. Nothing wrong with my current iPhone, but within a couple weeks of buying it outright 2 years ago I knew I hated the size. Was thinking about the X until I realized it’s only one size. So, upgrading phone, ‘downgrading’ size.

I have no choice. My 5s barely charges (I have to position the cord just right in the docking station and then wrap it around). And the battery barely lasts, not to mention how it will randomly shutdown. Oh, and it crashed when it made me update last week.

So yep, I am upgrading. Hopefully the 8 plus can last me 5 years

I totally forgot about the additional AppleCare cost.
Yeah, didn't AppleCare used to included?

AppleCare is included with the purchase of every new iPhone. This is the standard one year warranty.

AppleCare+ has always been extra and extends you out to two years of warranty PLUS the replacements for damage, etc.

They may have changed the names along the way, but the extra warranty and replacements have always cost a pretty penny.
