Keeping my iPhone 7.

Do have a 3-year old iPhone 6 Plus on the family plan that needs to be replaced. Not sure yet what the replacement will be. Waiting to see Apple certified refurb pricing on older models. I expect they'll have stock once iPhone 7 owners trade in their old phones to get the new models.

I wanted to upgrade to an X, but the pricing and features put it into the juice isn't worth the squeeze at this point. I have a 3Yo 6 that I'll pass down to my son and most likely I'll pick up a discounted 7+. At this stage I'm not sure the 8+ is worth the $$ either.

iPhone X has no headphone jack.
iPhone X wireless charging still needs some sort of pads.
iPhone X is way too expensive.

These are enough to pull me away from this damn phone. I will stick with my 6s Plus for at least another year.

I have a 6 so I'll definitely be upgrading, my battery life is terrible. I've not decided fully but im leaning towards the 8, mostly due to the price and not having to deal with face ID.

thinking of getting a new jetblack iPhone 7 Plus with 32Gb storage for €779. 32Gb is a new storage tier as of today for the iPhone 7 Plus.

I always liked the (grip!) jetblack iPhone 7

I'll be getting an iPhone 8+ for these reasons:
  • I have an iPhone 6 with horrid battery life
  • I want the bigger experience of the +
  • I want the Qi charging functionality
  • I don't need any of the iPhone X features and, will wait for them to become standard on iPhones going forward

Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm considering keeping my 7 Plus.

Nothing really wrong with it, I'm not completely sold on Face ID, I still have AppleCare + on my current phone, I have trade in credits with Verizon (from turning in my old 6 Plus) that make my 7 Plus only $9 a month on device payment, and can't justify the 8 Plus because of the minor differences from my 7 Plus.

The only driving factor is because I bought a new Toyota Avalon Touring with wireless charging which I would like to use but I can't justify paying that premium for one.

I feel like I may ride this year out but time will tell once I get to mess around with one in a retail location and see what I think.

I will going with the 8 Plus as I cannot justify paying almost $60/month on the Apple Upgrade Program. The 8+ will cost me the same amount and have double the memory.

My car has wireless charging, so that is a definite plus.

iPhone 8 Plus. I can't handle the X's bezel overlapping the content. In the video on the screen in the iPhone X ad, the bezel overlaps content. In the games on Apple's product page, the bezel juts into those as well. It will annoy me, so I'm going 8 Plus.

I’m on the upgrade program. I’m not sure what I want to do. Just keep my 7+ until next year and own it or upgrade to an 8+ or X.

Keeping my Jet Black IP7 128GB. The 8 and the X aren't enough of an upgrade to justify the price.

Makes sense to wait another year for the accessories to come out in force for wireless. But there's no way i can carry this bulky iphone plus dinosaur design around another year knowing the X is there with its gorgeous OLED screen. This is an easy choice.

I appreciate that the iPhone X exist, but I don’t see it as a good way of closing the gap with the competition

It makes the 8 look like a **** phone, and is it the 8 or X that will compete with the S8, Pixel 2, and V30

I have a pristine condition iPhone 7 Plus 256gig and right now I'm saying no 110% to the X and more than likely a no to the iPhone 8 Plus as well... But if I was going to grab one of the new ones, it would be the iPhone 8 Plus 256gig....
