Another News Radio fanatic checking in.

I've caught a few minutes of Cooks stuff here and there, never saw anything to stop me from changing the channel. Did like him in "Good Luck Chuck", though.

One may not find his comedy particularly amazing, but there's no doubt that he was a revolutionary, especially in terms of censorship. The world misses him.

He was a great advocate for our 1st amendment rights. He took the "punishment' of jail time in stride and was back out there using profanity not as a means of self expression or to be rude, but because he could and should be able to say whatever he pleases. That quote always stuck with me. I find it ironic that I cant say f*** without it being censored here. But its true: If you cant say "f***" in a public place, then you lose your right to speak out againt the government and state your displeasure with them.

I think he's funny, and I'm definitely not a frat guy.

I too, don't see why people talk about this guy like he's the anti-christ.

He has some absolutely hysterical routines. I caught a bit on HBO, I think, last week that had me crying. All I'll say is it involved a remote control and no condoms.

of course everyone here knows that this is opinion right?

Dane Cook is a pretty cool guy in real life. one of my best friends brother is a good friend of Dane's and i hung out with him a couple times a while back. but as for his comedy i guess i like it more because i met him. for me though he is like the movie Spaceballs. i can only watch or listen to him once every couple years.

I like Dane Cook for the most part. I hate people who are obsessed with him though and quote him constantly.

But then again, I am a frat guy that enjoys the occasional keg stand on Wednesday nights.

The article doesn't really make sense to me.

The guy could of saved some time and just said: "I don't think Dane Cook is funny"

This guy is so bad at articulating his opinion that he succumbs to calling Dane Cook and the people that like him "dorks."

Some people enjoy things that others do not. Some people find comedians funny that others do not. Not sure why the performer has to be personally attacked for entertaining. Most importantly, how in the hell is he "killing comedy?" The article doesn't even suggest a reason, other than that the author doesn't like him.

Mushrooms are killing Vegetables! (Sadly there are not many things I dislike enough to use as an example other than mushrooms---and I feel kinda bad even using mushrooms b/c they are OK).

Anyways, leave Dane Cook alone man. If you don't like him, don't listen/watch him. The authors jealously is surely revealed by his asinine article.

Dane Cook sucks, Andy Dick sucks, they all suck.

I think Adam Carolla is pretty funny, often downright hilarious, and he doesn't even try to be...not even a comedian at all. Which is why he is therefore funny. Carolla can be just as douchy as Dane Cook but he's thousands of times better.

For me Dane Cook is nails on a chalkboard while suffering through a hangover. He is the opposite of funny. I can't even deal with his acting. His name actually bothers a bit as well.

She programmed the TIVO! LOL

I particularly like the "I had a really bad case of crabs. It was so bad the crabs had herpes. They had a prescription for Valtrex under the name Seahorse"

Struck me funny for some reason.

I find this article completely rediculous. Not everyone finds all acts funny. What my 10 year old thinks is funny, is certainly not funny to me.

Every comedian has his moments. Andrew "Dice" Clay had a good thing going with the nursery rhymes, but shunned it for just being stupid. I saw him in Vegas and Ed Norton opened for him. I really wished Ed Norton stayed the entire time, because the Dice man just sucks now. He picked and old couple out of the front row and verbally abused them the entire show. It got old after about 3 minutes, but his 2 hour show went on.

Dane Cook has some pretty funny moments, but it's all college humor for the most part. At least he got that part of the article right...

The only thing we can agree on is that if your 7 or 70, Farts are funny!

I don't think Dane Cook is killing comedy. If you don't like him don't listen to him, it's that easy. Obviously he has a pretty big following, so he's doing something right.

Anyways, back to watching Demetri Martin. :)

I've never been a Dane Cook fan (I'm a Yankee girl) but his whole "There's Only One October" campaign was so annoying.

A friend brought over one of his comedy DVDs and it was AWFUL. His acting is just as bad.

I never did get Dane Cook's jokes. I listen to him all the time (because my friends love him) and I'm always left waiting for the punch line. Then I realize it's never coming and all I can think of is: "I guess that situation is.... kind of funny."
