I'm thinking of doing this as well. Normally I'd be too scared, but it's a very nice resort hotel and convention center so they probably deal with packages all the time with business travelers.

When you order it's probably a good idea to write (Guest 6/24-26) w/ your reservation # next to your name.

You should contact your Hotel to get the correct shipping information. You should also ask them what they charge for guests to receive packages. 😱 😱

if it's anything like last year you have to order from att if you have a FAN account. I pre-ordered and picked up my reserved unit at the store on launch day

Please don't spread misinformation. I had a FAN discount last year and ordered from apple.com. I received my phone on launch day by 10:00am

I did this already. I feel better about my decision to ship to my hotel. They said they receive packages all the time on behalf of their guests. I'm doing it!

Yep, I ship packages and crates for meetings several times a year to major hotels across the world. Someimes there are crates with 50-100 laptops and networking equipment and we have never lost an item.

That's why I suggested you check for any specific addressing and to see if your hotel has a fee for package consignment. In some locations, I have seen quite high fees until they verify how much we are spending at the property.

From my recollections of last year when the 3GS came out. The AT&T stores had 2 lines, one for pre-orders, one for people who didn't... and they let the pre-orders in first.
