I‘ve never seen a more pointless device? Forget this, get a Kindle and your eyes will love you for it.
at the time that Palm Pilot came out, ~ 30 years or so ago, my eyes would have been fineI once read several books (re-reading the Hitchhikers Guide series, among other things) on a Palm Pilot - with a 160 x 160 pixel monochrome screen. It's possible, but, yeah, bigger screens are better for reading. Only reason to read a book on my iPhone is because I have it with me; otherwise, the iPad is much better for that.
Unironically a better product because unlike the 40$ maxipad it doesn't take itself too seriously.I think you’re underestimating the stupidity of free-range consumerism… (link to more)

I mean, if you want it to look like a book: BookBook for iPhone. However, I like the idea of an accessory that makes the iPhone looks like a book.
I would like better if it looked even more book-like. Go further and make the center (that is outwardly-visible) appear to be the spine of a book.
If only apple made a e-ink device for books and apps meant for readingCompletely pointless. The e-ink screen is by far the biggest reason to get an e-reader.
The one advantage phones have over an actual e-reader is convenience; an advantage these handles handily remove.
I like my Kobo a lot, but would definitely be interested in an e-ink Apple reader. I can't see them doing it, but they'd potentially do it well if they did.If only apple made a e-ink device for books and apps meant for reading
That’s not quite what I had in mind. Although that does look cool. Thank you for telling me about that. 😁I mean, if you want it to look like a book: BookBook for iPhone.
Lol the nerve of that company!Astropad always trying to make more money.
I could see it maybe being useful with physical page turning buttons but this... aint it.
this product is idiotic beyond words
