Not good. Hopefully the iPhone 14 isn't delayed like the iPhone 12 was.
I hope not. Launch of iPhone 12 was bad. The good thing is it's only one mode. Knowing Apple, I hope it's not the Pro Max models especially with a new color.

Remember this from last year...

In a sense, they are taking care of the vast majority by sacrificing a small group of people due to a public health issue. And if you apply this same rule to where you live at country, state, even city level, we will likely find examples of which things like freedom of speech, health, career and more from a smaller group were suppressed/sacrificed to benefit another group. In the modern world, people call it democracy. It's really not about right and wrong, just how things work.
Sounds great... unless you get to be one of those considered in the 'smaller group'.

I guess I need to check my understanding of words again. So much democracy-ing going on here:

I know what you mean. It's good to be a nice person. But in reality, not everyone has that choice, especially in extreme circumstance. And people in China are a lot different from ones in the US or other countries, so it should not be assumed what is the most important for one is the same for another.

The problem with news like the one you listed is that it gives part of the info about a story. As a result, it easily leads to an emotional reaction by the general public. Not trying to justify what happened, it's a bad thing. But is what mentioned the true reason of this riot? What happened to those workers afterwards? Who's responsible for this, and what is consequence to that person/group? With information like that, people may draw a different conclusion about this event. And the key is that we all make mistakes, but some will learn a lesson from it and make it better next time, some will always blame others and never recognize their problem. Take the tragedy just happened in Texas as a sad example.
