Ok, so they underestimated iPhone data. They put billions into the network. Despite all the b!tching, I bet verizon would have had all the same issues. So let's be happy and quit whining about it, yeah?

I realize it's frustrating, but I think some people have nothing else to do but complain.

Too Funny

You guys are way too funny with the 1st Gen iPhone thing. I was reading through a few pages from this post and about 13 people said OOOO SHES USING A FIRST GEN! haha too funny. :apple:

I find this really hard to believe. Are there still people out there who are ANTICIPATING for mms functionality on their phones????? WTF?? It's been around since 2002!!!! Why does this thread even exist???? LMAO!!

P.S. Unless iPhone MMS is not the same as the Multimedia Messaging Service we all know and use here in europe in which case please accept my apologies in advance!

Has anyone else noticed that there are more people complaining about complainers, then the actual complainers.?

:D

Ok, got one for you - I'll never use MMS, but the massive increase in traffic it will cause will further cripple my 3G speeds, which have already fallen to below 400 kbps in downtown Boston.

At least you have 3G...I'm stuck with EDGE here for who knows how long. :(

But on a better note, I bought a 3GS yesterday outright so I could finally have an iPhone with MMS without extending my almost-done contract. :)

Did anyone ever pick up on why the 2G can't do MMS? I never use to send any but I get a ton from friends and it sucks that I don't even get the option of going to the website to see them anymore. Hopefully they can crack the update and just enable MMS on a 2G without third party software.

When I was a contractor on iPhone support, I tracked down the problem with the viewmymessage.com - everything is converted to flash, which we all know Safari on the iPhone can't read. Why AT&T did this, and never corrected it, is reprehensible. viewmymessage.com is registered to AT&T.

I told my supervisor and colleagues about it and they choked. At least they had something to tell their callers - talk to AT&T about that; it's their issue.

I bet 99% of you complainers will use MMS once or twice on the 25th, get bored with this feature, and move on.

first off i want my MMS when i was told i was suppose to have it, second even the cheapest sell phones send pictures, and the "greatest phone ever" doesn't have it, personally all the apps for sending pics suck they SOMETIMES work, they should have had this feature on the first iphone, doesn't make sense why they wouldn't if all the crappy phones do, and another thing, i want picture messaging bc i'm a college senior and personally i don't know about anyone else but i get a lot of pictures from lady friends it would be much easier to send and receive pictures. basically why i want it

I hear that! I'm tired of telling chicks to send it to my email.. it's a mood killer... That's also 95% of the reason I want MMS as well.. and I've been out of college for about 3 years..

My MMS works now! We had an AT&T outage in Cincinnati yesterday and since then I have been able to send and receive MMS flawlessly. AT&T must be taking the block off of people's accounts. I've never been able to send MMS even through the beta's. Here is how to enable it and how to set the correct CDN settings.

Hmmm...maybe that outage here yesterday was them setting it up on their end then. Because as far as I know, it was only AT&T people who had iPhones. Other AT&T customers (my brother) weren't affected.
