AT&T Apple Watch Ultra Preorder and Shipping

So here is where I stand today:
For Me:
Ordered: Friday 9/19/2022
Apple Watch Ultra Orange Alpine Loop Large
Expected Ship Date 10/17 - 10/24
Current Status - On Hold

For My Dad
Ordered: Friday 9/19/2022
Apple Watch Series 8 45MM Graphite Stainless Steal
Expected Ship Date 10/17 - 10/24
Current Status - Great news! We're just about ready to ship your order.
In or place should ship by 10/24, in another still 10/17-10/24

For my Ultra wish I had just waited to see what I could get tomorrow at the Apple Store. Also wish that you could do ATT Installment orders for the Apple Watch through Apple
 
Mine still says "we're just about ready to ship your order" since around 4:30 am pst. No tracking yet in the Fedex app. Fingers crossed mine makes it out today...
 
Status on my at&t account page just changed to shipped with overnight delivery scheduled for tomorrow! Tracking never showed up in the Fedex app for some reason, but the tracking link provided on my at&t account page works. I assume the name on the package is the account holders name, so if that is different than your name it won't automatically show up in your Fedex delivery manager just FYI

You can go into your FedEx settings and add additional names, spouse, kids, etc so it will ping for you. I have my wife and both sons names listed as additional names on my account and it shows up for all.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I ordered on Sep. 19, 2022 at 11:56 p.m. ET. I originally had ship dates of 10/10-10/17. I just got an email that my watch shipped today overnight FedEx for delivery by 4:30PM. I ordered the Ocean Band in color midnight.

FYI I was just checking amazon and they have the alpine bands that will ship within 6-10 days. They are not official Apple bands, but they look just like them and are only $12 (plus additional 20% off coupon) compared to $99 from Apple. There are 4 colors.

So I canceled my previous order that was made 9/10 ( delivery date 9/27-10/11) and ordered a Green Alpine Loop and it’s been shipped with delivery date of tomorrow.

Dang, I ordered at 12:27EST on the 9th, and my order still shows as being “on hold”. Worst part is I can’t get FedEx to work with me to see deliveries either. Fingers crossed it’s coming tomorrow. Like the guy above me, I too have the alpine loop, so not sure what the deal is there that theirs would ship prior to mine.

Jealous, I ordered mine same day but at 5:46 and mine with the Orange Alpine Loop is still sitting on hoid, and my dad‘s series 8 just changed to shipped and gets here tomorrow

AT&T 100 percent did not process and ship pre-orders in the order that they were received like they claim to do. A few hours before it ships the “on hold” message will change to “great news! We’re just about ready to ship your order!” So if you are still seeing on hold then it’s safe to say it hasn’t shipped yet. But don’t lose hope just yet. AT&T is shipping them next day overnight, so even if it ships this evening you should still get it tomorrow. I’m not sure exactly what the cutoff is for overnight shipping. But ya, AT&T is not sending them out in order regardless.

My preorder was the 10th for an ocean ban and a ton of people who preordered on the 9th didn’t get an update, crazy
 
Earlier today my FedEx updated with the tracking number for delivery tomorrow and it’s already moving in the system. Att website shows shipped and I’ve gotten a shipment email a few hours ago.

I pre ordered the day of release, and then canceled, and then decided to re-order on Sept. 12th. Green Alpine loop. It shipped the 22nd, is en route according to Fedex, and set for delivery on the 23rd.
 
Been preparing to ship since like 10 am and hasn't actually shipped yet lol, hoping it get's overnighted to me
 
I preordered Sept 9 at 5am pst and took advantage of the “BOGO“ $200 off the 2nd watch. I ordered the Ultra w/ Green Alpine Loop (Large) and ordered an AW-8 Starlight w/ Starlight Sports Band (Small). Original delivery date for the AW-8 was scheduled for November 18 - November 25, I received a text on Tuesday stating that delivery was scheduled for the 22nd and the watch was delivered today! As far as the AW-Ultra original delivery date was scheduled for September 23 -October 7. About an hour and half ago I received a text from AT&T saying my watch was shipped and scheduled for delivery tomorrow!! I hope this gives everyone an idea when yours will come in, good luck to everyone! :apple:⌚
 
I didn’t get a chance to call the AT&T store before they closed near my location . Does anyone know if they will have any ultras in hand for purchase tomorrow in store ?
 
Okay now im curious. Looking at the tracking details for my Dads Watch the shipping weight is 2+ lbs. Looking back at some previous on some of the other ultra threads the shipping weight for the ultra is under a pound. Now I am curious if ATT combined my orders and I’m going to get my ultra and my Dad’s series 8.
