AT&T Blames Recent iPhone Upload Speed Issues on Software Defect, Fix Under Development

What verizon store were you at that had a Droid X that you could use? They dont come out till July 15th. I've been to each vzw store here and looked for them, not a single one of them had them yet, not even a demo model.

No one can figure out why, but some stores and even users have been getting early Droid X shipments.

(Apparently many companies that do business with Verizon are getting a free Droid X sent to them to play with as well.)

Ok I did it. We cancelled AT&T and switched to Verizon last night. Unfortunately I'm using an old LG flip phone until I can get an Droid X. Surprisely I believe I will lower my bill since I'm not going to go with the unlimited calling and text (we had with AT&T) for my wife and I. It seems all our friends have Verizon and we get the 10 family and friends to pick from.

Now the waiting game begins...oh it was so tough driving to work and not listening to Pandora.

Right.....so under 100kbps is considered "normal" 3G upload speed? Pathetic.
Get your shi_t fixed AT&T pronto.

mine is under 10kbps. Pretty pathetic unless it's a "graphical issue"

I just got the At&t 3g Microcell today and i've been getting upload speeds of 60kbps at the most.

So I don't understand how this issue is related to their cell tower equipment, if i'm having the same issues, and using a microcell.

Only 28k upload speed on iPad 3G in Vegas. On iPhone 3G 44k upload. Don't think this is just a HSUPA issue.

Do the microcells support HSUPA? I suppose you should still be getting 384kbit range though right?

I only get around 38 kbps upload speeds, so I'm beyond all hope and basically don't really care anymore.

Do you mean KBps or kbps? there is a huge difference capital letters can make.
