It's definitely an iphone 6 plus issue. I walked into my local AT&T store at 4 pm today because I wasn't able to order via the website as a premier customer who wants to use Next. Ordered iphone 6 128 GB gray because it was showing delivery on launch day as per a cheat sheet att rep had showing latest delivery times they had on pre orders. Not sure if the info he had just related to store pre orders or all pre orders via Att after a certain cut off. And yes of course I snuck in a quick pic of his cheat sheet :)

Here is what I think will happen based on what I read, people with a ship date of for the iPhone 6+ through business Preimier:

10/13 - 10/22 - all ordered before or right around midnight and will get it day one
10/31 - 11/11 - half will get it day one (closer to midnight orders) and half will not and will get the second round (I ordered at 3:12 am and I am in this boat)
11/9-11/27 - will definitely not get it day one but will get the second batch.

It seems it means nothing that your credit card was charged because everybody's charged already so it doesn't necessarily mean you will get day one. I have a feeling the ship dates will be revised in the coming days as AT&T receives more iPhones into stock everyday. I wish they didn't start taking orders before midnight because I had no idea and was only prepared to order at midnight so even though I ordered only 12 minutes (maybe earlier if they really reserve your spot in line when you start the checkout process) and I am in the middle range. Please let me know if you guys agree but I think this post is pretty accurate as to what will happen. -Rob

I would not cancel. I think we are going to be good. I am in the group before you though. Hold out until next week.

Agreed. Don't risk cancelling when you could end up getting it much sooner than a lot of people (i.e. those who order from here onward).

I wouldn't cancel yet but everybody's says "preparing for shippment" so that is not an indication of anything. Unfortunately I don't think you will get it day one as it seems the 6+ stock is extremely limited. I'm starting to think I won't even get it day one even though I ordered 12 mins after pre-orders started and am in the second category of 10/31 - 11/11.
 
I had a desktop and laptop open on attwireless.com waiting for the countdown. The laptop refreshed and loaded the login page and I was able to order two iPhone 6 plus 64GB. The desktop never let me into the website. Neither computer made it past apples storefront.

Ship date is October 13th on both phones and preparing for shipment status.

I received the text message confirming the orders this afternoon. Email confirmation came through a few hours after the order was placed. Credit card is charged for two 1 dollar and two 74 dollar (tax on att next) purchases.

Order number starts with 101433 if you're looking correlate.

My order number starts with 101423...is that how you compare order numbers? wouldn't the end of the number tell you the order if it's even possible to correlate?

I had a 1012 and it said November. Order number doesn't mean anything with ATT, only when the full order (wireless eligibility, contrast, payment, etc) goes through does it matter.
 
I am tempted to hit the cancel button and order from apple. How long will it take to get the upgrade eligibility back?

I have a FAN account.

That said experience had taught me to ....

Never order through premier or AT&T.com on launch day.

It's always a mess. Now most if you know as well.

I was in the same situation - same model same delivery date. Att web said I was still upgrade eligible. I checked apple store and the delivery was on 9/19 so using apple store app I ordered one - it seemed checking my upgrade eligibility while ordering and my status passed and order was placed. Now i am on order at both ATT and Apple, but it seems apple took action faster than ATT. My eligibiliy status at Att now has changed after Apple store order. In the end I think I will get at least one phone possibly from Apple. When Att processes my order they will find out I am not eligible so they cannot offer the phone at the quoted price and they will cancel my order. In case they don't cancel and I receive phones both from Att and apple then I can either return one of them or sell one later at higher price. So I don't worry.

BTW I am also premier customer. I was trying to order from Apple store at midnight but their web didn't work and I couldn't stay up due to important meeting the next day, so I reluctantly ordered from ATT at 3:30am ET. Two years ago I ordered Iphone 5 from ATT and learned a lesson at that time - no accurate info on delivery dates although I received one on day one. Apple seems much more accurate and clear on handling orders mainly because they have control over their product especially on stock situation while ATT is getting goods from Apple in batches. I found yesterday that there is Apple Store app and ordering iphone there is very simple and fast - no need to enter credit card etc.

I had to call the order status line cancel. Once they cancelled the upgrade eligibility reset in 5 minutes. Was able to order via Apple for 9/19 delivery.

What a mess at ATT.

I'm so confused. Placed the order through premier like others here shortly after 3am, about 3:18am. I'm in the 10/31-11/11 shipment group yet I've gotten the text confirming the order has been processed, my credit card has been charged 40ish dollars, tax for NEXT im guessing. I wonder, and pray, if I'm going to actually get one on 9/19. Hopingg the dates just haven't been updated yet in their system, a guy can hope right?

I am like somewhat above the 10/13-10/22 it says my 6plus should come 10-6 to 10-13. Do you think there is any chance I could get it on friday??

9/12 3:01am EST finished order, 64 6+ black, 10/13. Just got 2 texts today about my order is processed.

Not sure how people got in before 3amEST.
 
All I can do is shake my head. I am in CST so at 1:58am ATT website was up and running. I ordered 2 iphone 6 plus and 1 iphone 6. 1st order was completed by 2:01, 2nd 2:05 and 3rd 2:10. Got confrontation email for 1st phone 6 plus at 2:09 2nd phone iphone 6 at 3:11 and 3rd phone iphone 6 plus at 5:09.

So now the situation is the 1st phones expected shipping is 10/31/11/14, 2nd is 9/23-10-7 and 3rd 11/07- 11/21.

I just don't understand that within first 8 mins all phones got ordered and still shipment times are way off so how is it 1st come 1st serve. It's is just so ridiculous tht I don't even know what to say or do anymore except call ATT and just tell them to cancel and give me my upgrade back.

I've gotten the text twice once yesterday and once a little while ago. I'm taking it as a sign that I will get it on Friday.

ive been having constant cc issues. my ship date appears to have slipped because of it.

i called and went though the sytem and reentered the cc info. my cc fraud dept then called and said that att had chargerd me twice. one for $525 and one for $499. i then got another att email saying

i was going to just cancel the att order. are you guys saying not to and to ignore the att shipping date?

Man, that sheet just doesn't add up... why would there be shipping delays on the existing models that have been (and are) widely available for a year? Seems odd... it's not like the same production line that makes iPhone 5c's is making iPhone 6's...
