The vast majority of people here aren't business users. If you have a FAN discount on your account, orders go through Premier.

I don't understand how people can cancel their order with AT&T business premier and order from Apple. If your phone(s) are on a business account, Apple kicks you out when you try to upgrade.

This is what I get on Apple's site:

"We're sorry. The AT&T account you have is a business account. Please contact your company's telecom manager or AT&T account manager to complete your iPhone purchase."

Gotcha. I could cancel and run down to an AT&T or Apple store and stand in line with the masses, but I'm not sure I could get a 6+ 64GB then, either.

Ok. I have a weird problem and cannot get anyone on the phone to help me yet. I tried and tried last night at midnight to order like everyone else. Had my laptop on apple.com, iPad on the applestore and iPhone on att app. I finally got the attapp to load and give me the iPhone order page so I figured I would give up on apple and order from att. It went through then I went to bed. I had an email this morning from the att premier order site confirming the order for $499 plus $40 activation I checked my bank and noticed two $1 debits from AT&T. I received a phone call from my bank around noon about fraud protection and confirmed to them to release the hold. I checked my order status and it showed pending so I called the premier phone support number and when I did the order status it said there was a hold on my order and to enter in my credit card info to release it. I proceeded then receive a bank text about a $499.99 debit pending and thought all was good. I then received another $542.49 debit pending both from AT&T. So now I have $1000 hold on my bank. Could not get in touch with anyone until just now. I finally talked to a nice lady and she checked both confirmation numbers (one from the premier web status and one that showed under the AT&T myatt login which are both different conf#'s). She said the premier one was my original order then they send the request over to AT&T and the second one is generated. I wanted her to make sure I wasn't billed twice and she checked and only saw one phone order and one charge (but could not see the amount). I guess somehow the computer system messed up because of the hold and did two debit authorizations. I am hoping the both drop off after 48 hours so I can have my $500 back from the second hold. Any thoughts? Does this sound right?

I ordered a 6+ at 3:06 EDT and I STILL got the 14-21 business day (October 13-22) delivery with AT&T. Completely defeats the purpose of a pre-order..... I'm quite disturbed. I'm not even excited anymore.

Here is my latest update.
I ordered at 3:20am EST for iphone 6 plus 16gb silver.

Around 8pm EST, Pending Confirmation change to
Expected Ship Date: 11/09/2014 To 11/27/2014

Credit card has been charged. No credit card agent ever called or email me.

I"ll be very mad if I get this phone 2 months later for preordering at 3:20am.

14-21 Days, Expected Oct 10/13/2014 to 10/22/2014

I think i would wait to whine next week. Ive been using premier for quite a time now and att has always a pater that tells you a date and comes early.:mad::mad:

I ordered iphone 6+ 128GB Space Grey @ 3:06 AM

Expected time 10/13/2014 to 10/22/2014

I am in the same boat as a lot of you in this thread and not sure what to do. When I preordered on AT&T's site it showed release date delivery and that is the ONLY reason I ordered through their page while apple.com was down. My email confirmation then said 14-21 days before shipped and now my order status shows 11/09/14 - 11/27/14.

My order was in at 2am Central, maybe 2:01am Central. My order went through Premier as well. AT&T online chat gave me the following response:

It is possible that the order will be sent out before then, the dates that have been provided are just expected ship dates. However, the devices are all sent out on a first come first serve basis. At this time this phone is in very high demand, as you can imagine. So there really is no way of telling exactly where you are in line. We would only be able to go off of the ship dates that have been provided to you.

I have always ordered off apple.com and I regret not waiting for their page last night. Does any other store handle AT&T contracts and release date purchases?

They must be out of gold or something which is why mine is not till November. I really wish they would actually put inventory numbers like the way Amazon says 'Only 10 items left'. That website is so dysfunctional as a whole. Had I known Gold was out or nearly out I would've went with Silver.

Last year I ordered an iPhone 5s through AT&T Premier and they gave me a shipping estimate of 7 - 14 days. The phone shipped the day after I ordered it and I had it a day later. So I don't put too much stock in the Premier shipping dates. I think they're often estimates and usually incorrect.

Either way, I had to finally call this morning and order my phone with a rep because the website kept showing no matching devices for me. They told me 28 - 35 days or something like that. I'm not too bothered about waiting -- it'll get here when it gets here. I'm just glad I was able to order one.

I canceled my 6 Plus because the shipping date was mid November. I'm not waiting that long. I ended up ordering the Space Gray 6, 64GB. Will be here the 19th.

Three days from now this thread will be filled with people wishing they hadn't cancelled their order. Hopefully. :p

Here is what I think

Here is what I think will happen based on what I read, people with a ship date of for the iPhone 6+ through business Preimier:

10/13 - 10/22 - all ordered before or right around midnight and will get it day one
10/31 - 11/11 - half will get it day one (closer to midnight orders) and half will not and will get the second round (I ordered at 3:12 am and I am in this boat)
11/9-11/27 - will definitely not get it day one but will get the second batch.

It seems it means nothing that your credit card was charged because everybody's charged already so it doesn't necessarily mean you will get day one. I have a feeling the ship dates will be revised in the coming days as AT&T receives more iPhones into stock everyday. I wish they didn't start taking orders before midnight because I had no idea and was only prepared to order at midnight so even though I ordered only 12 minutes (maybe earlier if they really reserve your spot in line when you start the checkout process) and I am in the middle range. Please let me know if you guys agree but I think this post is pretty accurate as to what will happen. -Rob

Weird problem for me, I ordered 2 6+ upgrades on separate lines. The first one generated an email that said my credit card denied it. (2:57AM EST). The 2nd one went through just fine (3:05 EST) and it also includes a line upgrade swap. Order status on the 2nd is preparing to ship, empty for the first.

Order placed at 4:14 AM Eastern (1:14 AM PST):

Thank you for your purchase from the Premier Online Store and for choosing AT&T as your wireless service provider.

Your Apple iPhone 6 Plus (128GB Space Gray) has been reserved and will ship within 14 - 21 business days. Your iPhone has been reserved. All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Your order may be subject to AT&T eligibility and credit requirements. If we have any questions about your eligibility or your order, we will contact you via email.

After several hours, I check on the status and here is where I'm at as of now:

Preorder Processing
Expected Ship Date: 10/31/2014 To 11/11/2014

I regret ordering from AT&T? I also had no choice, considering I can't order off my corporate account, IT has to do it for me.

Same exact status, except I ordered at 5am after I was "ineligible" to order from apple....

Same here. Ordered at about 3:35 EST then received the conf at 5am then a call that it was on hold, fixed that now 11/27 ship date and double charges to my debit card. I thought they only authorized the charge to see if you had the funds then let it drop off and only charged right before it shipped.

I thought so, but my charge stuck. Hopefully the late november delivery is a joke.. a sick sick joke.. If not I'm sure I will be able to find one in stores way before then. Gonna give it a week.

My preorder processing ship date is 10/02 - 10/13, and has been since the email immediately after my confirmation email. I also got a "order processed" text from AT&T a few minutes ago. I'm guessing that means mine is already in and shipping on day one. I placed my order at about 11:45 PST, 15 minutes before midnight. Site let me in early. 64GB, Space Gray 6+, likely the largest supply group, so I am pretty hopeful.

This, I think this is dead on.

I thought gold was one of the ones in stock still?

Update now says my 6+ will ship 11/17-11/29, 2 months later than last night. An early Christmas gift, I guess. Hopefully, the week after the 19th.

My order has exactly the same dates as yours along with the emails and text. Same ship date 10/2-10/13. Placed the order at about 11:50 PST, 10 minutes early site was open. 64 GB Gold 6+. Hoping it ships early but thankful it says 10/2 at this point.

I ordered mine at 3:05 AM EST. 6 + 128 GB via the ATT website. I get a discount through my company so it went through premier. I got an email conf about an hour later saying I was in the 14 to 21 business day group. The last conf email I got said it was expected to ship 10/13 to 10/22. Got a text message tonight, two actually, that said congrats, your order was processed. Three one dollar charges on the credit card and one pending charge of 539.99. Order page says "unlimited data grandfathered".

After placing my first order I was not sure it went through. I placed a second order and that one said "processing" until 2 PM today and then went to status of cancelled. Received and email that order was cancelled. Everything on the status page still shows the Oct ship date. I never called AT&T.

This is my 4th go around with ordering from AT&T on launch day. Every single time I have had an order in the first 30 mins of release and received it on launch day. I really feel that if you were in the first 30 mins or so you will get yours on launch. Almost every one of these launches apple says " this is the biggest we have seen". And it probably is. But I still think we in the first 30 mins are good. It would be extremely disappointing with apple if they can't fulfill the first hour or so worth of preorders for a product they knew everyone would want. I just think AT&T has no idea how many they will get and they don't want a media backlash if they can't fulfill what they might or might not get in a certain timeframe.

I would not be canceling any of these orders if I were you. I went to the AT&T store tonight to upgrade the girlfirends iPhone 4 to a 5s. The guy told me " you are one of the lucky ones with that date you got. We don't even foresee that we will get but a couple of 6+ on Friday. We had a two hour meeting this morning explaining this and what to tell customers when they start lining up". He told me that I would have to get to the store at midnight to line up and even have a chance, if they even got any in. He told me to stick with this preorder and I should be fine. Seemed like a pretty young knowledgable fellow.

I didn't think the plus would be selling as good as it seems, unless it's just not many were ready for manufacture like we've read
