Are these stackable? Do they apply to multiple lines? Do I need to apply this code to both lines, or will it discount both?
 
Yes, but only if you are a Premiere customer(that is you have a FAN on your account currently). If the rep is too dumb to know how, call back and get someone smarter. Also, if they ask where you got it, just mumble something about getting it from corp rep.

Beware folks...

I tried to add the TMS4 for $8.99, and it worked. However, I distinctly told them not to take off the 4.99 unlimited mobile to mobile SMS...and guess what... they sure did. I spent the last 30 minutes on the phone with a supervisor, and they cannot put that back on.

After I told the guy until I was blue in the face that I wanted to keep the 4.99 m2m SMS, it got wiped out. I am a pretty mild manner guy but this has me kinda ticked.

Any other options or suggestions for me?

I worked in a call center for quite a few years actually as Tier 3 support and yes, I have known plenty of dumb people that couldn't even open a ticket right much less fix a customer problem. Maybe they aren't all dumb, but they can certainly be unhelpful.
 
WTF -- I just checked my company's premier page today and our 16% off service discount is gone!! I am pissed
 
i just called AT&T and asked them to add it to my account, and she said it was added. but where do i see that it was added on the website?

or does it not say since its not applicable on the old iPhone... will it show up when i get the new 3G phone?



EDIT: i just called back and they told me that i could not add it to the first gen iPhone, but when i activate the new 3G phone i will be able to add the 1500 for $8.99.

she also told me that we will be activating the phone through iTunes at home, they will not fully activate it in stores, they will just take down the IMEI number and get your contract set up.
 
I just chatted with a premier sales rep and they said this no longer existed and that all 1500 text message plans were $15.00.

I am going to try again. Post if you were successful in adding this.

I dont think Apple will be able to mess with FAN stuff. Thats an ATT issue. Apple will just handle setting up the phone. I swear if someone trys to pay their ATT phone bill at Apple store, I will probably have a fit.

No I just spoke with a CSR and they said you must go to AT&T.

There are so many conflicting reports it's driving me crazy! Here's the thing: I (my parents) get the bill. It's not payed for by any company, I merely have the discount because of association with the institution (student). Some have said that as long as I am an authorized user on the bill, that I should be OK. Some have said that I won't be able to.

Which brings me to my point. How do I remove the FAN discount from my account? I'll just add it on tomorrow after I get the iPhone...
 
So how can you find out, aside from asking your company, if your company has a FAN discount or whatever?
 
So is the TMS4/1500 Text deal still active (because I do have a FAN account or I will come Friday) and can the can these ATT Feature Codes be added in store?
 
Even though the nice lady sounded semi-retarded, the TMS4 code worked and she also confirmed it would transfer to the iPhone 3G.

Yay for cheaper text!
 
The TMS4 code works but I also had issues after it was added. Today my voicemail stopped working and, when contacting AT&T about this issue, the rep yesterday had added the $8.99 1500 txt msg plan but dropped my data plan for some reason. If you have this code added, be sure you are explicit with the rep to not remove anything but simply add this code only! :(
 
Any idea if the folks at AT&T stores can apply these codes? I guess I'll try when I go get the 3G in the morning.

Just call ATT (611) from your iphone and speak to an operator and tell them you wish to remove it. I did this today because I need to buy 2 iphones, but I cannot do this at an ATT store, so I have to go to Apple but can't with a FAN number. Thus, I had them take it off and then send me a confirmation email which I printed out. To double check your status, call back and make sure it doesn't automatically transfer you to business. If it doesn't, you're good. Hope this helps.
