Carrier AT&T iPhone 15/iPhone 15 Pro Pre-order & Delivery Thread

If you can make it into a company-owned AT&T store (you could probably do an authorized retailer, but I'd suggest a company-owned store), they'll accept the trade-in right there. We took three phones in today and it only took about 20 minutes and we walked out with our receipts with the $830 trade-in offer. Super easy and much safer than shipping it, in my opinion!
What a joke. They do this every single time it’s ridiculous. There’s no delivery restrictions here they’re just idiots. The last time this happened support told me they lost it and eventually it ended up being stolen.
I cancelled my order earlier today. They shipped it anyway!
I read another post where they said it wasn't easy to cancel, but I assumed it was at least possible. Anyway, I'll take delivery. No big deal, assuming they are shipping a phone and not something else.

I received our two 15 Pros today through Fedex around 11:45am. My wife was home to sign for them. All goooooood here 
Careful. I’ve used the supplies that came with the new device before, and apparently that was for returning the new device. Huge headache trying to get my credits as the trade-in department never received it.
Firstnet user: had opening minute order placed for 15 pro max 512gb in natural titanium and was confirmed for delivery 9/22 but then AT&T had a "technical glitch" and cancelled my order. Reordered opening day around 2PM eastern time and was given a delivery window of 9/22 - 10/6. Just got notified today my phone is in the mail and will arrive 9/25.
Still not thrilled they cancelled my first order due to an error in their website affecting Firstnet users, and did not reserve my spot in line but waiting a few days for an in demand model isn't a big thing in the grand scheme of things. Just glad I have it scheduled to be delivered before leaving town in October.

I ordered mine before 8 am and still no info. Very frustrating
Strongly considering canceling but I don’t want it to mess up my upgrade eligibility. Apple stores have my phone in stock for pickup tomorrow. Walmart has it delivered on 9/27
I FINALLY received my FedEx tracking email. Mine is shipped and scheduled to be delivered Monday. I want to be mad so bad, but reality hits me of “it’s just a phone” and shuts down my ability to even be mad. I just have to wait 2 additional days.
Just my second line. My main line is fine but even trying phone to phone esim transfer isn’t working.
Will hop in ATT website and send my phone the esim that way.
I waited all day for FedEx and at nearly 9pm, after initially stating it’d be here by 2:15pm, got the message on the tracking that it was delayed. And since AT&T/Apple put all these restrictions on the package, I can’t even go pick it up from the hub tomorrow. What makes this all the more infuriating is that the hub is literally two blocks from my house AND I had received a separate FedEx delivery earlier in the morning. Make it make sense.
No, you have to either go in store or chat online or phone call them and tell them, but once they do it, it’s instant and you get your refund. But beware that if you paid early up a grade fees, they will refund them, but for whatever reason they become due on your next bill. But besides that, I was able to order my iPhone in store today for pickup on Sunday,.
Not necessarily, a lot of them were the same model and storage as mines, whom ordered days after me. So yeah, this was an unacceptable experience for some. Definitely not preordering again myself..
My Apple store only had one pro max option for pickup today. If you could go through the Apple buying process without having to put in all the dang phone activation crap now, I would probably cancel mine and just do an Apple upgrade plan or something, but I’m also afraid of it getting messed up.
Since I’m leaving town today for 6 days anyway, I think I’m just gonna see what happens, and if it’s not here when I get back, I’ll figure something out at that point.
Honestly tempted to just keep my dang 14 pro. This has been the most annoying pre-order/purchase experience I’ve ever had.
