**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I got my Premier order.

Well guys, i ordered on the 15th before the cut off through premier. it said i ordered on the 16th like many of you. I was back ordered all the way until this morning, when i woke up my back order status changed from 1 to 0. now i have a tracking number. so every one hang in there, i have a feeling everyone how got their order in will get their iP4 on the 23 or 24th.

Wait till tomorrow to cancel, They can still ship it tomorrow and have it there overnight.
 
Just called fedex for the hell of it.

ordered through AT&T at 530am 6-15 with debit card. Well my order status says shippeD, have tracking number that does not work on fedex website. I called fedex and gave them my tracking number. As per customer service rep it is on hold scheduled to be shipped tomorrow for 6/24 delivery. I was hoping to be among the few to recieve it tomorrow. Oh well as long as it's still on it's way. Oh yeah, my card hasn't been charged yet. And I too recieved that email from AT&T saying if I'm enjoying my new 3gs.

I know mine says the same thing when I call.

Got a tracking number at about 6pm last night. Regular Customer, ordered pen and paper method at AT&T store at about 3 pm on the 15th, upgrade from 3G, never a 1 in the backorder column on order status.

Because even though you have a tracking number, it hasn't left the AT&T facility where they are applying all these labels. They probably have FedEx Trucks on standby waiting to pick these up en mass. Once FedEx picks them up, scans them, they'll then show up in the tracking system.

Ordered:
15th @ 11am thru Premier (received confirmation email immediately after)
Premier website has me "Processing" since 17th and ordered on 15th
ATT Website says an order date of June 16th and "backordered"!?!?!?!

Can't believe how many people who ordered later in the day are getting theirs shipped already. If I knew how bad this pre-order process would be, I would have waited in line.

So angry right now...

I will give them until tomorrow but after that I am done. Two lines being upgraded and on unlimited voice, text, and data and I still get crappy service! Not to mention that they have been promising 3G service in our area since the launch of the iPhone 3G but we still have really slow Edge!

yeah, she even gave me a call at about 8pm and told me the server was back up and that she had placed my order, surprisingly i never have problems with my AT&T store, they always handle everything well

I'm just mad that some people who ordered later are getting theirs a day earlier.
 
My FEDEX tracking shows 23rd by 3 PM as well (ordered through ATT). With the release of Apple's emails, and the fact that there's a TIME on the 23rd that it will be delivered by, I have to believe that the tracking is accurate.

I wouldn't think FEDEX would hold something for a day that has a specific time delivery on a different day.

Well that works even better, I personally think its stupid for someone to cancel and then wait in line especially when its shipping overnight, and were still 2 days out from the 24th.
 
UPS also delivering tomorrow?

This is my first time posting but I have been reading every day since I preordered. I finally got a tracking number this morning and it has UPS as the sender. I preordered in South Florida on the ATT site at about 430 pm. I called UPS and the CS rep told me that they were not sure when it would be delivered as they were just picked up by the agent and being processed in the warehouse. When I was about to hang up she told me to hold as new info just popped up. She read for a couple of minutes and then told me that they would be delivering the packages from the cingular HQ (I guess they are still listed as that in the UPS database) all day tomorrow and thursday.. i guess that means some att customers will also be getting theirs a day early..

I agree. The email from Apple indicates it WILL arrive tomorrow.

So, are you tempted to stroll to the Applestore tomorrow night and walk along the reserved line talking on your iPhone 4 ? Or would you fear getting lynched?

Mine is the exact same as yours. only shows one tho on the premier site. but twice with same order # on regular site. And my order hasn't changed since the day i ordered. NERVOUS!!!
 
I got a second "your order has shipped" email this morning???

Still FEDEX has no data for my number.
 
I wouldn't be surprised the reason for letting some of the orders deliver early is simply a logistical issue. With this many phones to deliver coupled with the normal delivery volume FedEx deals with, it could possibly cause a strain. This could also explain why UPS seems to be getting more shipments then normal.

Just a thought.
