My tracking number is still not working with FedEx
same here my friend - hopefully it will update while we sleep tonight lol - i ordered mine from an at&t store on the 15th so we will see what happens
The store called and said my phone was shipped, but still no tracking number, no email however, the pending charges dropped off.
So my iphone left Fort Worth Texas at 10:45. It arrived in Memphis Tennessee NINE hours later....why would FEDEX take it there via truck? Perhaps its going to fly from there to Boston; however, that makes little sense why it would truck it all the way there.
Anyone else seeing a similar shipment?
It's kind of cool that once we get these....they've been all over the world.
Oh, and my second order just went from 1 to 0 in the backorder column.

Early 6/15 order (820am ET), still waiting for FedEx Tracking # to register. Hoping that it'll kick in late tonight, but giving up hope as time goes on. I'm assuming it arrives for Thursday as originally planned. Kind of a bummer that others have theirs, but at least I got my order in on 6/15 and will have the phone pretty quickly after launch.
Fedex Tracking still "not found"
Ordered on 6/15 5:15am EST regular ATT site, have had tracking since Sunday, says ordered on 6/15 and shipped on 6/17. I have tried the Fedex tracking number at least a hundred times but "Not found" is all I get, I live in the North East.

My FEDEX number isn't working either. Same happened to my iPad and it showed up just fine.
What happened was it was on a pallet of a bunch of others and they didn't bother tracking the individual units until they were placed on the truck for delivery. It was a bit nerve wracking, but prepared me for this! (Just remember "The Waiting is the Hardest Part!" Tom Petty quote for the closing)

hey that's a good idea! so what number did you call and what info did you give them so they can hold your package? just the tracking number?
I called 800-463-3339. They had on their site that you can ask the to hold your shipment if you like. SO I just called and told them that my package was arriving sooner than I expected and that no one was going to be home. They told me the location of the Fed Ex company where it will be delivered and what time the office opened and to call in the morning b4 I left to make sure that package had arrived at the location.
Mine is sent through ups and my tracking info was empty all day. I called them at 8:30 pm eastern and they told me it was set for next day delivery so it will be delivered before the end of the day, Wednesday
That sounds totally plausible. I wonder when it would get divorced from the pallet... presumably when it flies to MI tonight, probably 1 or 2 am. I suppose I'll know in the morning.
I'm shipping via UPS. I'm mad right now because the stupid thing hasn't updated since it was picked up in memphis this morning, while others have had theres leave from memphis - go to louisville - and fly all the way across the country. :|
My FedEx number isn't working either--but the ATT site says shipped, so I'm just assuming that it's overnight shipping going out on the 23rd to be at my door on the 24th. I've shipped plenty of things on ebay before and it often takes FedEx or UPS or the USPS a couple of days to even register that they've picked up the shipment--imagine the volume they're dealing with right now

So, I broke down and decided to call Fedex, what with all the people getting their iPhones tomorrow, I hoped mine would be amongst the lot. As it turns out, it won't be the case - informed by a lady with an atrocious accent - it is in Fort Worth, Texas, not scheduled to move before tomorrow. So, I will get my iPhone on the 24th (I hope). The lady couldn't confirm whether it would ship overnite.
I definitely need to relax.. Tomorrow will be a LONG day, with forums erupting with lucky sods who get their iPhones.

Good to know, thanks. Been sitting on my tracking number for almost 2 days now and still nothin' on the FedEx site. Hopefully we're in the same boat.... er, pallet.
Mine is/was exactly the same. I called ups 1.5 hrs ago and they told me it was set for next day, even though the tracking details were not available.
mine said that at 6:02 AM today, it was in transit to UPS facility....no update since that, 14 hours ago. Hopefully i can pick it up tomorrow since the big UPS facility around here is 15 minutes away from my AT&T store
