Mine is still listed backorder.

Of course, it *might* mean that the Premier rep with the cold who I talked to this morning, who actually put me on hold for 5 minutes to check on my real status and said my 32GB was packaged and just waiting for Fedex, was right? And that mine has shipped and the status just hasn't updated?

Meh, pretty unlikely.
 
My 32gb order on 6/29 is still backordered, however my upgrade eligibility now puts me at 2/29/12. Does AT&T automatically 'upgrade' you as you make an order or when they charge/ship your phone?
 
Just ordered a 32 gigger for my son via Premier (can't learn my lesson can I, ha ha:eek:). We'll see if he gets his 32 before my 6/15 (6/28) 32 order:eek::eek:
 
Ordered at my local AT&T store around 9am on 6/29, received an email yesterday 6/30 that it was shipped with an est delivery date of today 7/1. I was told 7-10 days at the store so I'm pretty shocked.

Yeah, I did the same thing at about 12:30 pm on 6/29 (i'm assuming you didn't order yours in the future). Mine went "shipped" this morning and is supposed to show up 7/2. How can we possibly be getting phones before the 6/15 orders? I'd be pissed if i were one of you.
 
When I ordered from our Premier account rep on the evening of 6/28, he indicated that they (the strategic account reps in the Mobility unit of AT&T) had been given a special allocation out of the 6/29 batch to fill new orders for Premier customers.

Sadly this means that 6/29 orders are going to get filled before some from 6/15 - 6/27 according to him (6/28 being a special case too as only a few folks realized you could call in early and get going).
 
Still backordered, while my buddy who decided to pick up an iPhone 4 yesterday strolled in to Best Buy and walked out ten minutes later with a 32 gigger. I'm canceling my order today; I've had enough.
 
Another confirmation that the 32 gig are on backorder... Status changed overnight.

Just order another 32gb on premier today, lets see when I get that.

What?!?! That's totally insane!

I ordered one on the 24th through Apple and still haven't got it. I also ordered one on 29th through ATT Store and its under back-order.

I just don't get it how people ordering earlier get no updates while new orders are shipped!!
 
I wonder if geographical location makes a difference. If a highly populated area like New York City has a lot of demand, they might ship out phones faster, whereas a small town in CT might need to wait longer so that they have enough phones to warrant a shipment.

Where are people getting these phones shipped to in only 2 days?
 
Question for those who ordered through Premier and have been waiting for awhile:

Does the "Last Updated" date change every day?

When I ordered online on 6/29, I went from "received" to "processing" in the same day. Then on 6/30 my "Last Updated" date changed, but nothing changed on my order because it is still in the "processing" stage.

However, today on 7/1 my "Last Updated" date has still not changed. I'm wondering if this could mean it may be getting ready to ship today or it could just mean that they do not change the "Last Updated" date each day.
 
Ordered on 29th shipped on 30th, getting mine today. :D No lines no fuss, easy as eating pie for some of us. Hopefully no problem with screen, camera, phone reception, proximity sensor, oh boy....

I don't think so. My 6/15 Premier order still says last updated 6/15 although the latest info is on the regular order status site. Track the status on the regular page using your wireless no. If it's not showing up on the regular site then "Houston we have a problem." You need to contact CS and get it resolved. If it is showing up then that will have the latest up to date info; Premier tracking site very slow to update or won't ever update.

My Premier 6/15 order got gooned up in their pre-order fiasco and finally got resolved to a 6/28 order date. It's a 32 gigger still on BO. the 16's are shipping right away. 32's are very limited.
 
If it's true that newer orders are getting delivered before older orders (mine is an older order), AT&T is going to loose all of my business. That's a bunch of BS!
