White 64GB from 22-Oct still showing backorder

Just got the email that my phone has shipped. Tracking info to follow shortly. I can't wait!!
Shipped today! Deliver Tuesday the 15th! Somehow hoping it shows up tomorrow since I am within one day of ft worth deliver with fedex! FTWorth to Oklahoma City
Why do you think all this shipping is taking place so soon from order? Has Apple all of a sudden released a massive amount to AT&T? How could AT&T have told people 3-4 weeks and then turnaround and ship to people within days.
Unless Apple's usual ploy of creating supply issues to generate this fake demand was causing orders to really slip so they decided fulfilling them faster was a better course. I know I was close to skipping this iteration as a result. The financial press has been discussing Apple potentially cutting back on 4S production.

20 days from order to backorder=0 for me, maybe you'll get lucky and the black will be available sooner
Hoping for shipping notice Monday.
Just got an email from AT&T premier that my 32gb white iphone 4s is still backordered. Ordered on 10/26. The most recent one I saw shipped was for someone who ordered on 10/20 on AT&T. Hoping next week.

Shipped from Shenzen today? You're not seeing it til Tuesday, if that's what it told you. And I'm pretty sure Apple didnt ship these with Saturday delivery, so even if it managed to make it from Shenzen>Lantau Island>Alaska to your local hub tomorrow, you wouldn't get it til Monday.
Same boat, only I ordered mine the 24th. Ive seen people walk into the apple store and get a white 32 a couple times already in this thread. So stupid.
If it's shipping from China did you order through AT&T or Apple.com?
I thought if it's shipping from China then you must have ordered directly from Apple.

My white 64 from 10/22 dropped off backorder yesterday, today I have a UPS tracking number. Not in the UPS system yet so will actually ship on Monday I presume.

Fedex overnight. Shipping email received today at 12:50pm, and shows Fedex already picked it up. Should be here Tuesday by 3pm.
