Yes I orderrd a 32 black (not a premier member) and a tracking number shows although not in UPS system yet.
Mine is showing shipped this morning as well! (And actually says "Shipped", not "In Progress" with a tracking number). 32GB White, non-premier member, ordered through AT&T at 4:02AM on Friday.
Mine is coming via UPS, though the tracking number is not active yet. If it's one day, maybe it will be here tomorrow (which would rock, sort of, if they came at their normal time of around 6:30 PM...if not, it would be a failed delivery attempt and I'd need to wait until Friday....but then I'd hope they'd still do the early 'overnight' delivery on Friday.

)I ordered through AT&T Premiere last Friday. On my AT&T account website, it is now listed as being shipped. However, the tracking number isn't giving information in FedEx yet.
I ordered a black 32GB and I have a tracking number now. It's through UPS but it hasn't been updated on UPS.com. The message I get when tracking it is:
"UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."
At least we're starting to get tracking numbers though... hopefully we're all good to go for Friday at the latest!

Likewise.... And I ordered mine off the AT&T website around 4:10-4:20am EST and still nothing... One of my orders went from back order to processing... But the other is still showing back ordered... And both have an order date of 10/07/11
Moments ago... One of my orders just got a FEDEX tracking number.... Yet my other order that I placed earlier on the same account and same day is still back ordered.... Ugh... At least some progress is being made
I purchased a 64GB Black 4S from the normal ATT web site (not premier) early Friday morning (5 AM EST or so). I'm now showing a Fed Ex tracking number, but it still says "In Process" and Fed Ex doesn't have any info on the tracking number. Still a great sign, IMO.
Checked at 3am EST, nothing. Checked again at 6 am EST and my black 32g iphone received a tracking number for fed ex. My white 64g iphone that was ordered a minute later has no tracking number yet. Ordered in an AT&T store at 9:45 a.m EST on Friday.

Yes early this morning East Coast time my order finally went from "in progress" to giving me a UPS tracking number. I'm a consumer customer who ordered online with AT&T. 32gb black.
The UPS tracking number doesn't work yet, but I'm sure it's because it's just a label at this point, not yet scanned in by/to UPS.

I find it interesting that some people have a ship date as early as 10/10, even though it just showed up today. Others have 10/11, and others (like me) have 10/12. Seems like they're all actually shipping today, though, or the shipping services would have the tracking numbers active for 'earlier' shipments. The tracking number almost always becomes active once the package is picked up and scanned by the shipping company.

Not always. Once AT&T submits that shipment information to FedEx/UPS it will become active then. I can't count the number of packages I have seen a status of "Shipment information sent to FedEx." Which drives me crazy at that doesn't mean it has even started the shipping process, only that fedex knows they have to ship a package from A to B, and are just waiting for A to give it to FedEx.
My ship date actually shows 10/09! I doubt that's accurate since the tracking numbers don't show up in FedEx's system yet. Sounds more like anyone with a tracking number is being shipped today, 10/12, via 2 day air and will receive it it Friday.
