well i'm going to bed...FINGERS CROSSED FOR TOMORROW ! ugh i can't imagine them taking a day off in the middle of all of this chaos but then again i also didn't imagine not having a device or some shipping info by now.

Hey everyone, finally created an account to pass on this glimmer of hope. I also preordered a rose gold 64gb 6s plus, 9/12 @ 12:12 pst. Since I placed the order, my status has shown as preparing to ship on the app & as in progress on the AT&T website. Also, my CC auth never dropped off so I can't even use that as an indication of it being shipped. As of today, I haven't received an activation email, shipping email, or even a second email confirmation for the pre order. I finally decided to just pay full price and go through apple but once there I was unable to cancel the AT&T order! The in store AT&T reps stated that I should expect my phone this week and to basically ignore the dates on my status because you can only cancel an order up until a label has been printed and since I couldn't cancel mine, that means that its getting shipped in the next few days. I mean since we've all been told so many different things, nothing is guaranteed but it still gives me a little bit of hope. Plus if I don't get my order by Wednesday, and I could've had it today from Apple, I'm calling every phone number listed for AT&T corporate :D

I'm scared to try to cancel in case I actually do haha
 
GOOD NEWS!!! Talked one more time to a CS rep about the fraud protection thing and he said and I quote "your device should ship within the next couple days" and "it will ship very soon"!! I asked if I'd probably see it next week and he said yes! Best news all day!

EDIT- he also said he thinks they are going to ship/process orders tomorrow! He said he assumes they will!
 
Just did my hourly check and my status changed Cronin progress to preparing to ship first change since my date move to later time of 23 to 30 October.
No tracking or anything else yet. Still not going to hold breath but is a sigh of hope

With the huge backlog they have and that they have planes coming in with more phones I would say thats a safe assumption that they process orders on Sunday and ship Monday am.

Just one more thing that is screwy with AT&T: my order page showed Preparing to Ship since the moment I order it on the 12th...why is that?

Same thing happened to me! I had one on hold at the local Apple Store but AT&T could not cancel my order. Bummer...the only thing that changed is the cancel button no longer shows up.

Never Again, AT&T! Next time (iphone 7) I will order for local pickup at the Apple Store.

I have an email and haven't checked my order status. I'm too afraid but I know in my heart it hasn't shipped. sigh.
