Do you know about Ft Worth to Chicago ??? I expect plane.. ?
Mine is already on its way here. :)
However, they changed the delivery to 8pm tomorrow.
Before it was until 3pm.

There is a flight from AFW to ORD that leaves early AM as well as an afternoon flight. It might be on one of those if you have a tracking number already.

The weirdest part of this whole thing is that it does not seem like first come first served, which would make the most sense. I would not be surprised if something like the RG was constrained for a little while, but in general things just seem totally off the wall. My phone shipped (6S+Gold to NY) so I am in the lucky camp, but I can totally feel for people waiting since the whole process feels more like playing the lottery than anything else. I think a lot of people will still end with phones tomorrow, the system just seems totally overwhelmed.

I think they already know who all of the people are that are going to get their phones shipped in time, and they're fulfilling them in whatever order is most efficient, which probably doesn't remotely resemble the order they received the orders in.

For example let's say they got 200 orders but 100 phones. They take the first 100 orders and say, these are the folks that get phones, but then they start shipping them out according to other criteria such as where the stock is located in the warehouse, and what the destination is, so they wouldn't be necessarily going in numerical order at that point.

In other words, whether or not someone is getting their phone tomorrow was likely pre-determined a couple days ago, and it's just a matter of going through the labor of matching up person to phone in a way that takes as little time as possible.

Around 1:30 PM. There still might be some hope. If it didn't make that route, then they will truck it to DFW and then fly it to Memphis or Indianapolis for the night sort.

Oh man. I've pretty much lost hope of getting mine tomorrow.

As a former FedEx Ground employee (I sorted Smalls for a few years), I really feel for all the FedEx and UPS package handlers, truck drivers, and deliver people this time of year.

I think there is still hope! Just got off the phone with a guy from AT&T billing and he said that he got an email yesterday from corporate that the majority of iPhone 6s+ pre-orders would be shipping today. If that is true then they will probably be shipping them late into the night.

Hoping that is the case with my 128GB SG 6S+

Yah I am still waiting for iPhone 6s+ Silver 16GB with my luck I lost my CC a few days ago and got a new one. AT&T won't let me change the order to the new number till after they have a failed attempt at charging it. What I really don't get is that he said if they can't charge the one on the order they don't even try to charge the one on the account if its different. (I was able to change that one)

I'm a FedEx Express tractor trailer guy and I have been through several of these launches. Most people don't know that the AT&T warehouse is actually operated by a FedEx subsidiary called Genco. The biggest headache by far is dealing with their security people. I work for FedEx and still have to jump through hoops just to get inside the gate!
