I have to order at ATT.com because the subsidy option was removed from Apple.com.

Does ATT put any writing or stickers on the iPhone shrink wrap at all?

Finally, is the outside cardboard (brown shipping box) packaged fairly well? I remember when I ordered for some other family a few years ago at ATT.com, it was the tiny iPhone box in a monstrous box with no filler, so it just bounced around like crazy.

Thanks.

Mine didn't have any markings at all on the shrink wrap. The box wasn't huge, but again there was no filler in the package. There wasn't enough room for the phone to flip or turn, but it could definitely slide around. Phone arrived safe, though.

Not to tick anyone off, just a heads up, I ordered off Att's website this passed Monday, 9/28/15 and it a course said about 3 to 4 weeks, never got an email or anything but this morning got a UPS notification that it is arriving tomorrow. I ordered the silver/white 128gb 6s plus through next, just added a line. I do have a premium account, but that has bitten me in the butt in the past before so maybe I got lucky, but I am SHOCKED it is coming tomorrow! Time to sell my Note 5!! Very happy to be back with Apple! Just a heads up for you guys thinking of ordering online.

I created an account here just to post in this thread. Either Apple was way overshooting their targeted delivery dates or they doubled their factory staff to fullfill pre-orders, lol

I upgraded the wife's line on Sep. 19th online at att.com. Ordered her the 6S+ 128GB rose gold phone. Estimated ship date was Nov. 6th-Nov. 13th. Just got an email saying it was shipped today.

Quite the pleasant surprise.

No. I hate to admit it but ATT does not give a rat's ass. The only thing we can do is switch to other carriers. I am planning to buy my next phone outright and go with whichever company gives me the best plan for an owned phone. I think when I do upgrade I may sell my previous phone on ebay etc.

This may happen next year, but it's hard for me to move on simply because I still have the grandfather unlimited data plan. And now that they extended it to 22 gigs before they throttle me, I won't get a decent plan that offers the same amount of data for the price I'm paying. Between my wife and I we both have unlimited data, in essence 44 gigs of data to use, and we pay $145 a month after taxes and fees. No company is going to touch that.

I'm happy for you, but frustrated for me because I ordered the same phone on 9/15 and my order is still "In Progress - Preparing to Ship". On top of that, my est ship date was 11/9-11/15 and I ordered earlier! Go figure....

What kind of estimates or early shipments are people getting on the silver iPhone 6s+? I ordered a 128gb 6s+.

This, unfortunately. This year's experience has been a good lesson on what to expect in the future. (Assuming we'll be able to keep our old plans going forward.) After a nice corporate discount, I'm paying about $130 for two lines- one has unlimited (22gb) data, the second has 2gb (but my husband doesn't even use half that). Even factoring in the out-of-pocket portion of my phone cost, I'm still paying quite a bit less than an equivalent Mobile Share or whatever it is plan.

That's with a subsidy of some type?

I have a corporate discount, but even still, my plan before taxes and discount is technically 159.99 per month. For 44 gigs of data. I'd have to spend almost $400 to get that with a mobileshare plan. So as I said before, thanks but no thanks, I'll keep my unlimited data and I won't be switching to Next.

They almost had me convinced before, when the cap before throttling was 5 gigs. Now that it's 22 gigs, none of the mobileshare plans even come close. On top of that, they've made it clear the throttling would only happen if you're on a congested tower, and would stop once the congestion eased or you moved to a different tower. If it means keeping my current data package, I'll just use the iPhone Upgrade program in the future to keep unlimited data, thereby never signing another contract with AT&T ever again.

Yeah, I know what you mean. How would that work if you bought the phone outright with no subsidization?

I'm looking at some of the previous posts and I'm seeing where people are activating their phones with the SIM that comes with the phone. If you have an existing iphone6 or 6 plus the SIM should be the same. All you have to do is pop it out of the old phone and pop it in the new one and viola it should work with no problem and there is no activation needed what so ever.

Or just click the activation button on your order status page and restart the new phone and boom it's activated. Why complicate a process that's already so simple?

On another note, I ordered another 128GB 6S+ Space Gray today and the estimated delivery is November 4th-11th.
