Hi all!

On September 29 I went into the AT&T store and through the AT&T next program I upgraded my wife and my iPhone six models to two iPhone 6 S Plus
Models. I got my wife a 64 GB rose gold 6S plus and I got myself a 64 gig gold 6S plus. My phone, the gold one, has an estimated shipping date from the middle of October to the end of October. On the other hand, my wife's Rosegold says November 3 through November 27. We knew that we would be behind the curve by not pre-ordering or standing in line on launch day, but didn't know it would be that long! Any chance it may show up earlier? I see a lot of people posting that they are getting their shipments earlier but I haven't seen anyone with estimated times as long as mine. I've been checking my status update daily, and both are stuck on preparing to ship. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. I know we are all excited to get our phones, and for those of you who already have them *stickstongueout* so jelly. Seriously.

Thanks!!
Ro
I'm 100% positive you will receive it way sooner than the estimated dates. Those place filler dates are crap.

I ordered a 6s Plus 64GB Gold yesterday and my shipment dates is 10/29-11/05. My status says "In Progress" in one place and "preparing to ship" on another. I was going to cancel my order for the 128 GB, but I want the phone already. haha So I will deal until the next one.

Right on. Thanks for the positive reinforcement. I have a feeling the gold one will ship quicker... I just worry about the rose gold for my wife's sake. Everything I hear is related to how in demand that finish is and how hard it will be to get one in a plus model. I try not to buy into these things but then again, I don't claim to be any kind of insider so even with a grain of salt, I still keep my ears open to most things said.
Just an afterthought, last year she and I ordered the two 6 models, and even though she opted for the harder-to-acquire gold version, both hers and my space gray came in weeks ahead of the delivery estimate. Hm..

Hi I ordered Sunday 9/28 at 5pm EST a 6s Plus 128GB SG. Original shipping date was oct.30-Nov 6. Got the tracking number this morning. Will probably be in my hands by Saturday. So have a little patience. I've been ordering from the ATT website for 3 years now and those dates are way off.

Yes, I totally see your point what with everyone else's experiences. I'm patient enough, more curious than anything. My wife, on the other hand can't sit still!

I ordered a 6+ 128gb RGD on 9/25 with shipping estimate of 11/13-11/20. I have had some hilarious att online chats with reps. I know they do not have much info. I hope it ships next week as inventory levels normalize. I feel ATT made a horrible decision to remove the 2 year upgrade pricing from vendors since some customers like myself use shared upgrades on my lines. The ATT ordering experience has been my worst so far for iphone purchases. I hope ATT comes around and allows ATT Next and 2 yr pricing for vendors. Verizon and Sprint still allow vendors like the Apple store to do 2 yr pricing and buying an iphone there is a breeze compared to through ATT. Sorry for the rant but I have been frustrated by ATT's actions to make things harder and not easier.

I think their actions are clearly to cut down costs, by removing shared revenue with 3rd party vendors. Not to mention that most of us in 2-year contracts are probably grandfathered in plans that are cheaper than currently available. I share your frustration and every chance I have to talk to AT&T, I make it known my displeasure of removing 3rd party vendors. Even worst is the lack of sales from non-iphone (android) alternatives lately from their website compared to other vendors.

I will just keep waiting until I receive my order. Good luck to everyone waiting. May the shipping notification be in your favor.

Hello! New to the forum...brand new to the iphone world! Finally made the switch. Anyways, i ordered my 64gb Space Grey 6s Plus on 10/30 in the afternoon. I just received notice that it has shipped via fedex today!! Yay! Even though the est ship date was not till the end of october. So those of you with est ship dates at end of october, you will more then likely get your phone very very soon!

You ordered it on 9/30? I ordered mine yesterday too at around 10:00 PM PST. 6s+ Gold 64GB. I'm getting "in progress" still. Ship date isn't until the end of the month early November. Hope I get it soon!

I've been through this roller coaster with AT&T for years with pre-orders. They suck with their accuracy and customer service. lol

You're completely right. I had the same conversation with multiple reps and even got one to admit that it's ridiculous how AT&T has acted over 2 year pricing. They're doing this because they want to completely phase out 2 year plans, and are pushing the Next plans, which I'm sorry to say are just not as good for customers as other options. One manager in a store tried to play off that "ordering with a 2 year contract was confusing at Apple" and I called him out on that by simply asking how it was any less confusing than the mixed options available for Next. He basically immediately folded.

I have to agree with you guys. I called AT&T about Visual Voicemail not working for my wife and me and checked on 2 year contract pricing for my upgrade. The rep told me that AT&T plans to completely get rid of 2 year agreements at the end of the year. I am not sure how far this is true and hope it isn't.

Anyways, I placed an order yesterday morning for a Gold 64 GB 6s and it shipped out yesterday for delivery today.

Next time just change some settings in the account. I don't live with my mom but I'm on her plan. I changed the primary address before preordering and it shipped directly to me. After I got my phone I just switched the address back
I didn't think I could do that, but now I realize I can. Thanks, I will do that next time.

The day that happens, I'll buy my phones direct from Apple via the iPhone upgrade program. This way, I'm never signing another contract with AT&T, which means they can't cancel my unlimited data. As it is, the iPhone Upgrade program is better for customers than Next. Under Next you have to pay off 3/4 of the price of the device before you can trade it in and upgrade; under the iPhone upgrade program, you only have to pay for 1/2.

Mine wasn't, it shipped yesterday from Texas, I'm not supposed to get it until Tuesday in Florida. Kinda disappointing, but I wasn't even expecting the phone until the end of the month so I can't really complain.

It's going to be wild if they really try to get rid of 2 year contracts completely because many of us are on packages that had subsidies factored in the price. Sure, those plans may be LESS money than their new ridiculous plans, but that is not our fault.

T-Mobile did good and bad in introducing contract free, no subsidy accounts. It was good for their business. However, AT&T and Verizon copied they idea, while increasing their prices. Yep, they dropped contracts, but increased monthly fess while trying to get rid of the several hundred dollar subsidies. Amazing. They attempt to hide all this by offering monthly payments on devices.

I don't think they are doing overnight delivery.

They shipped mine UPS 2nd Day Air, which would have been a Monday delivery. However, considering Dallas and Houston are 4 hours apart, 2nd Day Air makes no sense. So, mine probably got trucked down to Houston last night for next day delivery.

Question for everyone. My iphone is scheduled to be delivered monday via Fedex. Now im assuming a signature will be required for the package. Since ill be at work, i was wondering if its possible to leave a note with my signature, on my door to have FedEx leave my package? Or does Apple shipments require an in person signature? Thanks!

If done through Apple I would think a signature is required, but mine done through ATT.com didn't require a signature, they gave it to me without signing anything.
