I ordered a 16 GB 6s Silver and a 64GB 6s Gold early Thursday afternoon and they shipped separately late Friday afternoon. I should have them on Monday. The original shipping estimate at order time was for 10/13-10/15. These were paid in full, two new lines to be added to an existing account (I don't know if they prioritize those or not).
 
Was at the ATT store last night to transfer my 5S to my grandson and asked what was taking my 6S rose gold iPhone so long to process (ordered it at the same time as my space grey which I got on Sept. 25). He said that they were not given any rose gold phones initially and they were waiting for their shipment from Apple.
 
It's doesn't work... I'm fuming. I'm seeing people order the 6s+ and theirs are getting shipped the same or next day!

Mine was stuck in processing for a long time. When I called in and after 30 minutes it was determined my order was cancelled some how. They put a new order in over the phone and it shipped that day and I got it yesterday.

Still waiting on the rose gold phone I ordered though.

I did an online chat twice and even asked specifically if my order had been canceled, but they both said the order was fine? Should I call instead? I have such awful anxiety talking on the phone lol.
 
I ordered a 6s+ rose gold 64gb on 10/2 and nothing yet!! Is showing a November 20/30 shipping date!!
 
Well, it's about freakin' time!!!! I just got the text!!! I preordered the 64+ Rose Gold on launch and then cancelled that when that got me nowhere :( I've been chatting with AT&T periodically, but that gets you nowhere as I even spoke to a rep via chat Friday and they don't know anything :confused: But I just get the shipping text! :) Hang in there folks!!!;)

Oh, and in case anybody wants to know, the color is gold and it's being shipped overnight from TX, today, Saturday, and says I should get it by Monday! :) I had shipping estimates of 10/23- 10/30.

My iPhone 6S Plus 128GB Space Gray just shipped via UPS. I ordered on October 4th at att.com. The tracking info has not updated and therefore I can't see if they shipped ground or overnight express. I will keep you guys updated..
 
I feel like ATT is all over the board with shipping, carriers and delivery dates. My phone was shipped out yesterday morning, shipping info says UPS 2 day air, but UPS website is also quoting me a delivery day of Tuesday by end of day. I'm ok with it, seeing as I was originally told a November ship date. Just seeing all these posts about next day shipping and whatnot has me thinking there's some validity in calling them if your order seems to be hung up in the processing stage.
 
I ordered a 64gb 6s plus yesterday night, and it shipped this afternoon, and will be here tomorrow. Crazy fast shipping.

FYI.. based on these posts I cancelled my previous order made on 10/3 for a Gold 6s Plus 128 (which was just sitting) and created a new order for the 6s Plus 64 Space Gray and within two hours got an "Your items are on their way" email with a tracking number. Thanks, you guys!

I think silver and gold models are starting to ship now (hope my gold is gonna ship soon), but that's pretty crazy to get a "shipped" status after only a couple hours! Good choice lol

Crazy. I ordered a 6s Plus SG yesterday morning, still listing a November ship.

There must be some science to this unknowable to mortals.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to their methodology. As for the color, I've never really cared about that because it's always in a case anyway.

The color matters if you prefer a black front versus a white front. The color slightly matters if you go with silver, gold, rose gold since that is the color of the ring around the home button but otherwise not that big of deal.

True, I do prefer I white face but it's not a deal breaker for me.
 
Having to wait for my iPhone is horrid! I guess that is the downside when you only can order online to get the 2 year agreement pricing. UGH.
 
I ordered both a 6s 64GB Gold and 6s 64 GB Rose Gold about 7:30am ET on ship day over the phone with AT&T. The gold shipped immediately and was received in three days. The rose gold is stuck on preparing to ship with an estimated date of 10/23 to 10/30. I want to order when orders were first accepted, but I had to work with retention to get out of my original cell contracts and they couldn't do it until they could take orders over the phone.

Won't be an issue next year. As seen earlier in this thread, it appears 2 year contracts are completely going away with AT&T.

And will there be anymore incentives to our packages to keep us from leaving? We were use to our prices including subsidy.

I was just talking on the phone with them to make sure my 16 GM space gray was still there and not canceled. All they could say was "its coming don't worry you just have to be patient but its coming." I also asked if I could change the name on the shipping and they said they coulden't because it was already out. which was said to me last week when I tried to change it. so i guess "In progress" status means its just sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
