The problem with this theory is that AT&T had no such problems with tracking for the 6. Only the 6+. The systems are the same. They messed up in the + orders.
Maybe because AT&T is filling your order?... Maybe their systems are overrun by the sheer volume of the pre-order. Even if they aren't its time they updated its a farce. For my other line that ordered a regular 6 it left AT&Ts fulfillment center on Saturday the 13th. ATT website didn't reflect this information until Tuesday night.
For all we know - phones of the people who pre-ordered in the first hour could have left an AT&T fulfillment center a few days ago. Just saying, have a little faith.![]()

This year, with the advent of UPS MyChoice & FedEx Delivery Manager, it would be difficult to have a surprise delivery. As soon as a shipment with my name & address goes to either UPS or FedEx, I get a notification. I'm positive that those of us without tracking numbers are not getting phones tomorrow. Now, might we get them Saturday, or Monday, or anytime before 10/2 -- that I think is possible.
I'm just saying that Foxxconn had produced a lot of regular 6s and that they were already here in the states around the 12th... (i.e. My regular 6 order leaving AT&T leaving on saturday, yet not being reflected as such on AT&T's website until almost 4 days later).
Just saying that its conceivable that in the past few days Foxxconn could have shipped enough 6+ phones from Shenzhen, China to help fill in orders for those who ordered within the first hour, and AT&Ts website has yet to reflect this.

I can't wait for the upgrade fee to appear on my bill in a few days before I even get the phone.
Let's hope so! I still believe I'll have a tracking number tonight. Not leaving the house tomorrow just in case.
this happened when i preordered a 5 for myself and my mother 2 years ago, so i'm trying to remain optimistic as well. Didn't get a tracking number until 9:00 pm on thursday, and it arrived at my house at 4:00 pm the next day.
Help me out here...
- Apple is producing 140,000 6 plus' a day link
- Apple sold a combined 4 million preorders in the first 24 hours link
Even if all 4 million preorders were for the 6 plus, Apple would have been able to have met that demand in a 28 day period.
4,000,000
÷ 140,000
= 28.5
It's safe to assume that the phones have been in production prior to the preorder date of 9/12, but for sake of discussion let's assume not. This would mean that everyone who preordered on day one, would have their phone by October 10. Why then, is my shipping date 11/9-11/27???
I think because US is not the only contry that release the iphone on the first day.. There are many other countries too that apple need to supply their phone toHelp me out here...

My 6 phone with tracking number is sitting in my hometown at a distribution center. It is not in my FedEx delivery manager.
Why is it not in the delivery manager? Is the name or address different from normal for you?
