Just spoke to a rep at att who states that all preorders of the iphone 6+ placed before 12 pm September 12th will not ship until mid november!!!!!

And yes i know caps lock is on. And yes i am screaming!!!!!!

I don't want to believe that, but what! Why would they make it live early then say sorry back of the bus. I really want to switch now, screw these guys
 
I ordered a total of 6 phones for my company:

1 iphone 6 16gb SG
1 iphone 6 16gb silver
1 iphone 6 128 gb gold
1 iphone 6+ 128 gb SG
2 iphone 6+ 128gb silver

I ordered these on Monday 9/15 at 9:00 am thru my AT&T business rep. The initial confirmation I received had all 3 6+ phones delivering 11/9-11/27. The 16gb SG had an expected delivery date of 10/14-11/3 and the 16gb silver and 128gb gold had a delivery date of 9/24-10/3. I checked the status this morning and all 3 iphone 6 phones had UPS tracking numbers and showed a 9/19 delivery date to Dayton, OH. About an hour after that I received tracking numbers for all 3 6+ phones but it didn't have a delivery date. They were all in Fort Worth, TX and listed as next day air saver. About 45 minutes ago it updated again and they too have a 9/19 delivery date from UPS. As of a few minutes ago they were at DFW airport probably headed to Louisville next. I have no idea how mine got moved up so fast as I ordered them 4 days after the presale started.

This post sparked my interest a ton because I ordered a 128GB Gold 6+ from the SimplyMac near me. Any screenshots you wouldn't mind sharing? It'd be interesting if they had timestamps or anything, I'm still waiting to see if mine will get moved up.

Maybe because AT&T is filling your order?... Maybe their systems are overrun by the sheer volume of the pre-order. Even if they aren't its time they updated its a farce. For my other line that ordered a regular 6 it left AT&Ts fulfillment center on Saturday the 13th. ATT website didn't reflect this information until Tuesday night.

For all we know - phones of the people who pre-ordered in the first hour could have left an AT&T fulfillment center a few days ago. Just saying, have a little faith. :rolleyes:
 
I ordered mine at 6 in the evening on the 12th shipped today, on the truck already fedex overnight should have it in the morning. My ship dates were 10/13 to 10/31.
 
12pm? So anyone that ordered in the first 12 hours of preorder activity aren't getting their phones? No one? Something about that isn't right.

Nice intelligent woman said an internal memo released this morning stated that very fact.

Did the rep say why? I placed my order at 3:25. Will I have to wait until mid November?

I wouldn't give much credence to the above story of pre 12 orders going out in November...that rep likely made that up on the fly.

You got like a 5% chance of them having a 64GB 6+ in Space Grey. Call them to see if they will tell you if they will have any in stock.

It depends the store near me is only getting maybe 5 pluses to sell, corporate informed them the stock they were allocated is going to pre-orders.
Supposedly he couldnt confirm how many he will actually see in store.

Forgive me folks as I'm not trying to troll but why would she suggest there was an internal memo if there wasn't one?

They are probably saying just about anything to end the conversation now, because they have NO IDEA what is going on and they are being hammered relentlessly for an explanation. If I had the energy, I'd hammer them on it too. It's about the only way to let AT&T know how pissed we all are...I feel bad for the reps, but that's the price you pay for working in such a disorganized company.
 
People should be thankful they even have an estimated shipping date for their phone. Who cares if it's not on launch day? My order no longer even shows up when i check on att.com and the customer service reps are clueless so I have no clue if or when I'll even get my order. At least most of you have an idea when your order will ship.

It's already been stated by people that ordered between those hours and have tracking numbers. They're all lying? Even those with screen shots? Maybe she doesnt know the difference between AM and PM.

I could see a problem with orders before official start time, though total BS as if the store is open and people can order, not fair to punish them. But AT&T for a fact did not withhold shipment on EVERY Plus ordered between the hours of 12 AM and 12 PM on the 12th.

It just didn't happen.

Seeing I ordered in the first 12 hours and I am getting my phone tomorrow l, I obviously don't believe it. Lol

Hahahahaha. There are people who ordered before the official launch time who have already posted pics of their tracking numbers for tomorrow delivery. Don't believe a word these reps say.

The problem with this theory is that AT&T had no such problems with tracking for the 6. Only the 6+. The systems are the same. They messed up in the + orders.
 
It's crunch time

We have 24 hours to finally find out if we get our +'s or not. All of our questions will be finally answered. I bet hardly any of you are rocking a iPhone 4 like me which is almost as bad as a rotary phone. ..if that phone don't come my girlfriend is going to be so dam happy cause I am going womp womp her in the bedroom with so much anger to get out all this frustration....lol...
