hector: I am just fed up with this Iphone 6 fiasco. I ordered at 0330 on the 12th and people order at 12pm est on the 12th and get their phones before I do.
Mary Gordon: I understand where you're coming from.. Have you placed an order online?
hector: I placed my order on the 12th at 0330 in the morning. basicly 30 mins after preorders opened and my est shipping day is oct 2-13.
hector: while people who ordered hours after I get their shipping conformation for tomorrow
Mary Gordon: I see. the shipping commitment of the orders just changing dates every now and then.. May I ask what phone did you preorder?
hector: 128 6+

Mary Gordon: Do you wish to cancel the order then get the phone at the store?
hector: so after spending my sleep time on your website trying to avoid having to go in the early hours of the day to line up at a store and deal with the rush you want me to line up at a store in the morning to possibly not get the phone?
Mary Gordon: Nope. That is not what I mean. I apologize for that. Let me clear my side here.
Mary Gordon: What I mean is, what do you want me to do for you not to cancel the account?
hector: to be honest I want my phone with out the hassel

hector: 30 mins after preorders opened
Mary Gordon: I see. The expected shipment date will be 11/9-11/27.. But as I've said earlier. It might change from time to time..
hector: so why does my account say 10-2 to 1013 oct?
Mary Gordon: The shipment dates actually updated this September 13, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. ET..

hector: I have no update that says so but I do believe you.

hector: what can yo do to keep me a customer?
Mary Gordon: I can give you the assurance that you can heave your phone with your within or even before the commitment dates.
hector: to be honest i keep reading the web and the only carrier with issues with the Iphone is att. Verizon and tmobile have reported no issues
hector: I might actually try my luck with them tomorrow

hector: ok if i cancel my account will I be charged anything?

Mary Gordon: As I can see here, you need to pay for the early termination fee. $325 is the fee,
hector: actually I should not have to.
Mary Gordon: May I ask why?
hector: I fulfilled my contract and upgraded to the iphone 6 which has not been shipped so if I cancel that order i in sense cancel the upgrade nullifing the upgrade
hector: therefore I go back to fully compling with my previous contract

hector: all you can offer me to stay is your assurrance?
Mary Gordon: AT&T has a lot to offer with our valued customer.. It's just so happen that the date of the shipments are not yet updated.
hector: is there a hold on my bank account with the $549 dollars for the iphone? if so when cancelling is there a wait time for the release to be lifted?
Mary Gordon: you can get that as soon as you cancel the order.
hector: ok well i have all the info I need thanks. as of this moment i am not cancelling.
 
I ordered a 6+ 16gb space gray and also a 6+ 16gb gold. Both orders were placed by 12:30am. I didn't receive the confirmation emails until 4:42am & 5:00am and didn't receive the confirmation texts until Sunday. Upon checking status the delivery dates were 11/9-11/27 and like most folks here changed to 10/2-10/13. I did call AT&T Sunday morning when I saw the asinine expected shipping date and the outsourced customer service "manager" told me that premier customer were delayed because the system they use to process is manual where the regular consumer orders are automated. Who knows how much truth there is to it. Oh and btw I'm a premier customer because I'm an AT&T employee so I get a discount. :rolleyes:

I've had one iPhone 6 ship via FedEx from DFW and another iPhone 6 ship via UPS from TN. Still waiting on info for my 6+
 
Just noticed something.... After my 3 iphone 6's were shipped out I noticed when I tracked my order on Att.com that my order number changed after it was shipped... And after I just checked my order again for my 6+ for the millionth time today my order number changed in the last ten minutes. Called a former coworker of mine had him VPN into the AT&T network and dig into AT&Ts order tracking system.

BOOM. TRACKING NUMBER. OVERNIGHT DELIVERY.

SEE YOU TOMORROW IPHONE 6+

There's hope after all y'all!!:D

Just noticed my order number changed a few days ago. Original order number was 1018xxxxxx now it's 377 x-x xxx xxx xxx

mine starts with 1446



My order number has changed too in the past 10 mins

but still shows shippin of 10/2-13 on the website??
 
Does anyone know if ATT will let you cancel after the order has actually shipped?

As you all have noted, there could be a system lag and our orders could arrive without us ever receiving a tracking number.

However, if it is the case that they WILL NOT let you cancel after the order has shipped, actually attempting to cancel may be just the right psychological barometer I need to go through with this ******** up decision to camp out all night.

Yeah my other phones changed and didn't pay much attention to it as they're my wife's, and her parents and I figured I had my orders mixed up. But I've been watching mine like a hawk I'm pretty sure three years from now I'd be able to recite my original order number.

When I track it on the website mine still shows my first week of October dates and preparing to ship. AT&T has what's called order tracker (crazy name I know) for their employees basically they can search information by name, address, number etc and its live data to find out shipping status. Like I said called a old coworker who I play madden with and had him dig into it and he found my tracking number.

So if the order number has changed that could indicate that it is shipping?
