The charges were dropped from my credit card. I'm guessing the charge was pending too long or At&t knows my phone will not ship anytime soon?
 
hmm I see one more flight is scheduled to leave Anchorage to Louisville in 50 minutes...supposed to arrive in Louisville at around 10am.....
 
Called FedEx as well, and nothing. The guy checked express and ground, and said no packages were addressed to this address. However, I don't really know if his information is accurate, basically because he said that the last package delivered by FedEx to my address was July 22nd. Which I know isn't true, because they delivered a package here last wednesday :rolleyes: xD I'm just ready to go to bed and hopefully be surprised tomorrow...

Losing hope that I'm going to have my 6+ tomorrow. On the upside, I did score a case of Surge from Amazon before they sold out, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.
 
Woke up to an email saying my item shipped!

It was ATT informing me my wife's iPhone 6 was on it's way...

Something I've known for days.

How disappointing.
 
Well 12:37 time for bed I have to meet with a student at 6:30am. Fuuuck thanks for nothing att. So much for staying up late to per order. Ordered at 11:47 premier 6+ SG.
I've been trying to stay positive but att screwed the ones that ordered early. So much for first come first serve. Oh did I mention F att!!!!! :)

Ok I feel better off to bed, maybe I wake up to a nice surprise. :)

I just cancelled my order from my att pre order and I was immediately able to re upgrade....I am now at a small town of 5,000 people waiting to pickup a 64gb plus. (Had to drive about 25 miles away from EAST DFW) I called yesterday and she told me they got only 1....I'm the only one here at 4am....so hopefully I have mine at 8am today.

(Had to drive about 25 miles away from EAST DFW) I called yesterday and she told me they got only 1....I'm the only one here at 4am....so hopefully I have mine at 8am today.

good luck. im prolly gonna do the samething. might even go to verizon just out of spite

Just drove by my local AT&T store. 2.5 hours before the doors open and only 4 people in line.

Why oh why did I preorder?!!!

So I just called the order status customer service line (1-877-782-8870) and according to the automated messages, "the item from your order is currently back-ordered and will ship as soon as it becomes available."

I am so close to canceling my order it's not even funny.
I placed the order through AT&T Premier at 12:01am PST and finished the process by 12:08am. No crashing, no lag, nada. I didn't receive a confirmation email until an hour and half later. A day or two after, I received a text saying something about my order is now being processed. The money has been removed from my avaibale balance on my American Express.

I am so done with AT&T. If it wasn't for me not having an upgrade available and having to use that shared upgrade crap, I would have just ordered through Apple.
Seriously never doing anything through AT&T again. Completely ridiculous.

Also, I'm in Southern California. San Diego to be exact. Looks like we got the short end of the damn stick.

Same here, but I think we are the ones to get it delivered with out seeing tracking numbers till after we get it..

Hope so! Why am I doing this to myself? It's launch day, no tracking and I'm still hoping.....and not sleeping....still trying to see if anyone miraculously got shipping info overnight. Damn it.
 
Does anyone know if ATT will let you cancel after the order has actually shipped?

As you all have noted, there could be a system lag and our orders could arrive without us ever receiving a tracking number.

However, if it is the case that they WILL NOT let you cancel after the order has shipped, actually attempting to cancel may be just the right psychological barometer I need to go through with this ******** up decision to camp out all night.

Att hasn't touched my bank account yet since pending $439 dropped off. I am doubtful of a today delivery.
 
Can someone post a screen print of the cancel button? I remember seeing it the morning I ordered. However, I can't find one and do not have a tracking number. I want to cancel and go get in line.
 
Yea, it's not happening today. no shipping info, no charges, no myups garbage, nothing. oh well, I can wait.

I have no cancel button. I used the online chat to ask if I went to a store could they cancel and just process the upgrade there (provided I find a phone). The agent said no and that I would have to call a special number that didn't open until 8am PDT when att stores open at 8am EDT....makes no sense but he was very firm that I wouldnt get help in a store.
 
Sorry, not going back and reading the pages since yesterday afternoon. Following the link provided in my confirmation email I have changed to "preorder processing", did we figure out if that is taking a step back from "preparing to ship"?

If you look up your order on att website/app it will still show preparing to ship

From my personal expierience it is a step backwards.
