I just cancelled my order from my att pre order and I was immediately able to re upgrade....I am now at a small town of 5,000 people waiting to pickup a 64gb plus. (Had to drive about 25 miles away from EAST DFW) I called yesterday and she told me they got only 1....I'm the only one here at 4am....so hopefully I have mine at 8am today.

So I just called the order status customer service line (1-877-782-8870) and according to the automated messages, "the item from your order is currently back-ordered and will ship as soon as it becomes available."

I am so close to canceling my order it's not even funny.
I placed the order through AT&T Premier at 12:01am PST and finished the process by 12:08am. No crashing, no lag, nada. I didn't receive a confirmation email until an hour and half later. A day or two after, I received a text saying something about my order is now being processed. The money has been removed from my avaibale balance on my American Express.
I am so done with AT&T. If it wasn't for me not having an upgrade available and having to use that shared upgrade crap, I would have just ordered through Apple.
Seriously never doing anything through AT&T again. Completely ridiculous.
Also, I'm in Southern California. San Diego to be exact. Looks like we got the short end of the damn stick.
Same here, but I think we are the ones to get it delivered with out seeing tracking numbers till after we get it..
Does anyone know if ATT will let you cancel after the order has actually shipped?
As you all have noted, there could be a system lag and our orders could arrive without us ever receiving a tracking number.
However, if it is the case that they WILL NOT let you cancel after the order has shipped, actually attempting to cancel may be just the right psychological barometer I need to go through with this ******** up decision to camp out all night.
Can someone post a screen print of the cancel button? I remember seeing it the morning I ordered. However, I can't find one and do not have a tracking number. I want to cancel and go get in line.
