Hi guys,


I had preordered the iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB SG around 11:56 PM PST on Sep 11th. Like most of you, I have not received any tracking information and the status shows delivery between 10/02 and 10/13. I emailed the CEO of AT&T, Randall this afternoon and to my surprise I got a call back from his office within a couple of hours. The executive listened to what I had to say and said that they hadn't heard any complaints about the earlier orders being delayed.

I know it's late in the game now, but it would be great if a few of you could email Randall and let him know that the premier account holders haven't received tracking or shipping updates - along with the fact that the later preorders are getting priority over earlier preorders. His email id is:

Thanks Nik, I emailed from my work address in hopes to stand out from the crowd, and I even added a link to this forum so he can see there is a good slice of premier customers that have been given the shaft.
 
Highly highly highly doubt any iPhone's will be delivered via USPS. There'almost zero chance this package will be your phone.

That's what I thought as well but I did hear from a user on this thread that AT&T has delivered devices via USPS in the past. I have never experienced that but trying to cling to hope. Also in a conversation with a CSR I was told that they would be shipping USPS.

We will see.
 
But they do have control on how they conduct business, PR, preparation.

I find it hard to believe that Apple let all the other carriers know what's going on with tracking numbers and left AT&T out of the loop.

CSR's should not be giving out different information. It's just a poorly managed roll out.

That's what I thought as well but I did hear from a user on this thread that AT&T has delivered devices via USPS in the past. I have never experienced that but trying to cling to hope. Also in a conversation with a CSR I was told that they would be shipping

Actually they did. It's why only people who ordered through AT&T are getting screwed.

So I just went to the App Store and are over 200 people waiting for the store open also went to Best Buy and they informed everybody online that they are not going to have any 6+
 
Like someone said before. A pre order is for people who would like to get their item before anyone else. They do pre orders on music and people get it the day its released. I know AT&T does not know how much inventory they will get from apple, then again I do not know. But its kinda lame that everyone myself included got up to place an order early in the morning on pre order launch day. Then we get shafted because the way AT&T sends orders out has no care in the world of when the order was place. So people who ordered at a way later time get there phone on launch and we are left wondering when if ever we will get our item. Its stupid and makes no sense. Its also something that needs to be addressed and a solution found. I am not complaining here I am stating facts, I can wait, but its just annoying.

Its like a hot dog vendor with a very large line, just walking up to random people in line and serving them. Or everyones fav its like DMV giving you a number and calling everyone around you while you sit and wait. It just does not work.
 
has anyone else called and checked their order through phone? I do and mine says my phone is on back order. My ship dates online say 10/02-10/13. Silver 64gb 6+

mine is the same, and calling premier is useless the give you the same garbage that the dates you see online is when you are getting your phone.

You work for AT&T? Or are you getting your phone today? Cuz that's the only 2 reasons I could see you sticking up for them. Had no problem ordering but after that had nothing but problems getting hold of premier to help at some points they wouldn't even let me stay on hold it just disconnected me and said try later. I know it's high demand but no matter what if you pre order from a big company within the first 15 min or sooner there shouldn't even be question of you getting what you want. I've come to the conclusion the only thing I could have done different was wait for apple to come back up and order through them. Disappointed is an understatement. But I really do hope the people that do get the phones enjoy them for the rest of us
 
Ah what a story i have for you guys (long post).

I preordered 2 iphones one for me one for my mom. I ordered from AT&T's website. both 6 plus models
one 16 gig space gray, and one 64 gig space gray.
i orderd mine first (64 gig) at 4:15am or so EST. 64 gig order went thru. i got confirmation at 7:45Am
I orderd my mom's (16gig) at about 625 or so. That order went through and i got the confirmation.
so i will tell you what happend with my moms phone first.
She got an email from At&T premier (we have a discount because i work for the state) saying that there is a problem with the credit card and to please call the number provided (1-866-499-8008).... so she calls and gets the whole oh were busy please wait message. and she said they hung up a few times. so she called back and than was waiting a hour and half and FINALLY got connected to someone.
she regave the rep the credit card info and he reprocessed it. and gave her some new order # and said she was all set.. and so she hung up.
she got a email on sat saying the same thing..... about credit card.... so she ignored it because obv one would think theres no problem after talking to an agent. than a little while later she got a text from at&t saying congrats your order has been processed you will get a text when it ships.
ok no big deal.

Now let me tell you about MY problem much worse than her situation.

i didnt get any emails over the weekend so i was like ok must not be a problem. so i called AT&T premier monday evening just to make sure.. so i was on hold about 50 mins or so. finally get connected and spoke to a lady. she looked up my order. and says yeah your eligibility failed and have to reprocess your credit card. i go ok no problem. gave all my info. and she said ok your all set you will get a text in 24 hrs and everything will update on at&t's website showing your order status.
so i say ok and hang up. i wait 24 hrs and its tuesday night and still didnt get anything.

So i called wed because i got a text from AT&T at 2:08pm EST saying we're unable to process your credit card please check your email for an important message..... thing is i got no Email... so i called my bank at 4 and they said yeah no problem with your card at&t made a chaged of $0.00 on friday i go hmm weird... so call #2 to AT&T premier is made at 3:40. and i was only on hold for about 17 mins.
and i spoke to a guy and he said yeah i have to reprocess your credit card... i go but i did that on monday..... he says yea but i have to do it again. i go ok whatever. gave him my shipping and billing address of my card. and than he told me a different zipcode (the zipcode to where my at&t bill goes is different than where the phone is being shipped to) so i said no this is the correct zipcode.
he ran the card put me on hold and said your good to go it's approved i go ok cool ill wait for the text..

5:43 comes around on wed and i get an email saying oh problem with card. i go....... i already called and guy said my card was approved..... so i call just to ask if that email was delayed email because i already got a text. so this is phone call # 3...... i was onhold about 40 minutes..
talk to a guy and he said yeah theres a problem with the zipcode on the card. i go i already did this with the guy 2 hours ago and he said my card was approved...... so he ran my card AGAIN. and he said it went thru and ill have no problems.... THIS TIME i get a new order number like my mom did. so i go to my self ok maby it did go thru this time for real.... so i hang up and at 7:11 i get the congrat's text from at&t. saying my order has been processed. FINALLY after 3 phone call's and 3 re processing of the same card it went through.

my phone says 11/9-11/27 as the shipdate
and my mom's says 10/13-10/22 as ship date.

reason mine is later date im convinced is because i ordered the 64 gig and there is ALOT MORE DEMAND. than the 16 gig.

boy what a crazy time i have had.... no fun whatsoever.... now i have to wait for tracking #'s

I am wondering if all us premier members can do something about ATT email plainly stating it was first come first serve when it clearly isnt. After all we have posts proving otherwise. One rep even told someone on here that it wasnt first come first serve. Seems to me that is false advertising and that we should be able to make a claim for some sort of compensation!:mad:

******* ATT, it is very ******** to stay up the whole night till 3AM in the morning to preorder. Keep getting hope this will get deliver today. status still processing for pre-oder. I'm done with order with ATT for good now.

Yes that's because they used them to fill pre-orders. Not to fill ours of course.
 
Like many others I guess I'll just have to wait for my phone. And honestly the waiting itself isn't what's bad. What has people up in arms in the fact that we all have pre-order data to compare with one another and you get those few people who woke up early and got their pre-orders in but aren't receiving a day one delivery. And on the other end of the spectrum you have people who pre-ordered much later in the morning or later on in the day who have tracking info already. Reps don't really have a satisfying answer for that. As if there's no exact reasoning for this to be happening other than luck of the draw. And that in itself defeats the purpose of a first come, first serve policy.
 
Welp, sadly I'm still in the same boat as everyone else that's still checking this thread. Maybe it'll be delivered without tracking but I'm doubting that for some reason. This whole experience is rather annoying. Off to work.
 
woke up this morning to use the bathroom... So decided to check my order status. Yup still sitting at 10/2 like everyone and their mother. So I decided to take a ride. Get dressed drive down the street to an authorized retailer no one in line. I figured why take the chance since they are not a corporate store. Drive to bestbuy. No one in line same thing.. Decided hell if att can not fill orders to the people who preordered in the first couple hours my luck to get a plus is slim to none. one last stop 15 mins drive att corporate store. About 15-20 people with everyone talking about shortage of 6 Plus just decided to go back home jump in bed and wait 2-3 weeks hopefully sooner for this phone to show up. Going to be a long 2-3 weeks. Good luck everyone. Hopefully the status updates are incorrect.

Me too! Isn't just not getting phone on launch day but crappy customer service and wait times plus crappy status updates on phone. I mean why does ever customer service person say sumthin different? Shouldn't what's going on be clear cut? It's the date it shows or its coming early..I had online chat person tell me that because I had to fix a small bit of info I mistyped on my credit card info I was to back of line after having lady on phone saying my spot was same they just were editing payment info. So then I called again waiting forever and they said yeah your in same spot as when you ordered she also said the date is just worst case scenario that they show so could easily come early. I dunno just feel like everyone should be on same page so there isn't much confusion
 
Best buy near me has a line of 8 people. They have plenty of iPhone 6 but didn't get any 6 plus delivered.
