I think you are the first to whom the rep confirmed 9/19 date.. Just to confirm, did you tell you were checking for iPhone 6 plus?

Edit: Ignore.. Re read your chat.. Still sleepy..

While I typically don't believe anything these agents tell me during times like these, I still can't help but be cautiously optimistic. Let's hope that the order status system and tracking #'s get some updating today....and in a positive way!

One thing you can definitely believe is when she said there is a mess up with the dates. Actually not a mess up, but longer range estimates then probably necessary at the beginning.

So I've been reading all of the post on the 6+ and it'd be funny if I weren't one of the ones who's also suffering along with you all. I preordered the 128 gold through att just like everyone else due to the apple site being down. I checked out roughly 20-30 mins past 0300 on the 12th with premier cause I am in the military and the offer us discounts. I also received the conformation email prolly an hour after. The email said 7-10 days for delivery. Next day while I was fishing I get the 2 text saying congrats your order has processed. I check my order on my mobile and the date says 10-13 to 10-22. I was extremely upset cause as all of you I set time out around 0300 est time to preorder, although I work mids so it wasn't to hard. On Sunday my shipping time changed to 10-02 to 10-13. Btw my order number starts with 1016. I prolly check the status on my order like 20 times a day hoping to get bumped up again.

I ordered two iPhone's (a 6 and a 6+) from AT&T at about 12:20am PST the night of the pre-order. My wife and I both got the 5S on launch day last year, so after the last week or so of comparing all options on the best/cheapest way to get the iPhone 6 for people like us who get a new iPhone every year, I determined that adding two new lines was the best way to go. So I add the two lines, order the phones, check out with relative ease, and go to bed. I wake up to multiple emails from AT&T the next day saying there is an issue processing my order, and it has to do with my credit card. I check my bank statement, and there’s an AT&T charge, but the amount is equal to the price of only one phone (the 6+), not two.

So I spend the next 24 hours or so trying to call into AT&T Premier support as I've been directed to do in the email AT&T sent me, but no avail, can't get through. FINALLY, on Saturday morning, after sitting on hold for three and a half orders (I kid you not, see picture), I finally get through to an operator. She basically tells me that my entire order is held up, and never got a "place in line" so to speak, so it'll be like I'm placing the order now for the new phones at that moment, and my delivery date will reflect that. I ask why the 6+ order processed and was charged, yet did not get a “place in line.” Operator says it’s because the other phone on the order didn’t process, and when I ask her why it would be any different since the credit card information was only entered once for the whole order which both phones are on, she is upfront and says, basically, that she doesn’t really know and wouldn’t want to give false information. So now my iPhone 6+ has a delivery date of 11/9/14 to 11/27/14, even though I ordered it 20 minutes after midnight and the payment processed right away (my wife's 6 will be here about 10 days after launch supposedly). I think, alright whatever, I have to wait a couple extra months for my phone, but whatever. I’ll take a $100 hit on what I sell my old phone to Gazelle for, but whatever, at least I’m getting the new phone this year. Hang up the phone thinking I’m good to go.

Log on to AT&T later in the day, and somehow my order is now THREE new iPhone’s and THREE new lines. Apparently the operator I spoke with doubled up my iPhone 6+ order somehow, while re-processing the credit card info for the iPhone 6 that caused the error originally. So I’ll probably have to sit on hold for another three hours to get this new issue corrected, get my money refunded on the third iPhone since they already charged me, get the third new line cancelled, etc. Not to mention, I added two lines so me and my wife could upgrade to the new iPhone every year, but of course now that I won’t have my 6+ until late November, my upgrade date will be November of 2016, so I probably won’t be eligible right away when that year’s iPhone gets released. THANKS AT&T, you’ve really outdone yourself.

My situation kind of is what it is I think, since all “new line” orders have to go through AT&T, but let me know if any of you have any advice on what you’d do in this situation (besides cancel your AT&T account, I’ve already been to that ledge and back).

Oh don't you worry, many of us will be tearing into att if they think for a second we won't be getting our upgrade on time next year due to this crap. I know they will be calling the police to remove me before I take no for an answer. Quote me on that.

After lurking around multiple forums, I think 6+ 128 GB have order number starting from 1011 and goes from there as 1012, 1013... Like the gentleman above have 1016.. I ordered right around 3:00 EST.. May be a few minutes before that.. I am in 1012 bucket..

If your order number is in different range, please let me know.. It would be really helpful if you could list first 4 digit of your order number as well..

mines 1018, but that's the premier order number, I read that the first 4 don't mean anything, if I log into my account and see the non premier number it is different.

Yep, that's not hard to believe. What a mess.

6+ 128 gold. First numbers 1018. Hard to say what that signifies, though. I would think that the numbers afterthat would say more about the sequence of the order. I ordered at 11:45 PST, and my number is 101823000....plus some other numbers after that...:)

According to my local att store they can't cancel a order inside. You have to do it before you go in. I have no idea why though.

He or she is full of ****. They have access to the same site and internet as you do inside that door. I've had reps literally adjust things on my account via the same means I would have used had I knew how to do what they were doing. (Ie they used the same old att/wireless site). That's assuming they don't have their proprietary att software that bypasses and gives them superior control.

If I would have heard that from an att rep I would have taken their name and then when I went in made sure I proved them wrong. (At which point they would deny saying it or tell you how you must have misunderstood). Been there, done that.

But yea, you get the idea.

So I'm still interested in seeing the email from the single customer who supposedly has a 9/19 delivery date :p

I just had a chat with "marissa" from AT&T. Almost verbatim she told me the same thing as another poster on here:

Maybe we can find a link there as well, but with 5 digits. What are your first 5 digits on AT&T wireless? Mine are 5283-1..

Yay! So my original e-mail had stated it would ship within 21-28 business days..

After logging in and seeing 11/9-11/27 this is what I see now..

Looks like it holds true what I said.. They wouldn't charge for something they don't have on hand..

I'm sure by Wed or Thurs that's gonna drop to the 19th since I placed the order at 12:46AM PST, the only time I could really have it processed since before I was getting errors on AT&T's website..

Their website is totally unreliable. I ordered a full hour after you but my ship dates are 10/13-10/22. It's first come first serve so this is more evidence that their systems are totally screwed up.

Ok, I hope to not get hopes up unnecessarily, but I'm seeing something that could be a positive sign. . .

I have two iPhones on order, a 6+ SG 64G (10/2-10/13 date) and a gold 6 64GB (9/13 date).

I received an email at 2:14AM CST from AT&T Premier with the title "Your recent iPhone purchase with AT&T" and the body "Thank you for placing your recent iPhone order with AT&T (#Premier xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) (actual number hidden). For the most up to date information regarding the status of your order and shipment date, click the following link: https://www.wireless.att.com/business/order_status/"

I go to the status page for this order and it says status pending with an expected ship date 10/02 to 10/13. But I go to the 6 order status page and it also says pending.

The interesting thing that is giving me hope is that it is now 6:50 and I've received only one of these notices, despite the fact both phones were ordered one right after the other. And this one notice is for the 6+ What makes it interesting is that two hours before from UPS My Choice that there is a package scheduled to arrive 9/19 from Apple LO35 NPI RESI.

Now, I do have a 6 and 6+ also on order with Apple (per my previous threads). I've received no notices from Apple, and when I check the order status for those with Apple I see no evidence of shipping.

With all my orders pending, it's a long-shot, but it might be possible the notice I received and UPS My choice I received are both for the AT&T 6+. . .

Lurking for days.

I ordered 6+ 64gb SG. Att premiere site. 2:40am central time. Order 1019. Est ship 10/13-10/20

I got my confirmation emails immediately. Saw the charges hit the bank account, pending. Was pretty confident 9/19 was still a possibility. On Sunday the ship estimate changed to processing then back to the 10/13 dates. This morning my pending charges have disappeared. Losing hope for 9/19. I'm holding out today, but then I will move on with my life. Time will pass quicker that way.

I also received that email this morning for my 6+

Before you read any further, beware I am on high dosage of movies..

072 : order number
2-9 : batch

That would put my order number as 528 in 3-1 batch.. Possibly because I ordered after you..

Meh.. Ignore.. Decryption was never my strong suite.. Back to square one..

The one thing that gives me hope - is as per the google docs data (and posts on the forums to be fair) I've seen people who ordered after me with delivery dates before me.

Now OBVIOUSLY this leaves two conclusions to be potentially drawn. 1) the dates are erronous at best 2) they surely aren't being filled fcfs or Atleast not with any degree of accuracy.

I choose to believe the first is much more likely than the second option. Time will tell. A few more days of stressing (at best) and then begins the stressing about having a handicapped phone until a jailbreak drops. Doh!

----------

There have been plenty of people posting screenshots of their + orders from AT&T having been shipped.

I've yet to see 1

----------

I'm telling ya. The dates are likely right and AT&T preorders always suck.:mad::mad:

The same thing happens every iPhone preorder

Ironically my limited experience (1 prior pre) has been the opposite. Based on many comments they all allude to the exact opposite as well. It's the only thing giving any of is hope tbh lol.

----------

This is frustrating... I waited 40 minutes on hold to have "I don't have an answer for you." to be told to me for every question I asked including do you know if any AT&T customer who pre ordered would receive a Space grey 128gb 6+ on the 19th? Why was I told by a rep when I called in that I must wait to 12:01 and others were allowed in early?

Do they really send these people "out there" with no information? What are they paying these people for? "Premiere" has the worse customer service I've experienced in a while. I wish "I don't have an answer for you" was acceptable from me in my place of acceptance.

What did you expect? Seriously... The higher ups don't even have some of these answers or don't share them. Not to mention your faaaar from the first naive irate customer to call them demanding info, had any been provided it would be all over these forums already. At this point everyone is getting a different answer and I wouldn't trust any positive replies anyhow. They simply don't know.

Well I like the chats laverycj and cova80 posted. They give hope.....

Indeed. Although it's quite a coincidence that both chats are with an agent named "Marissa". With as many agents as they must have working, it's odd that the only two chats verifying 9/19 shipping for the 6+ are from the same agent?
