I am a little confused about the sarcasm here.....why would a consumer like you and me even place a preorder at a specific time when it is suposed to be "first come first served" not get mad when our expectations aren't met when we see other people getting phones that ordered after us...?


Clearly they are AT&T under cover people.... They all joined this month.

Lol yes us premier clients got screwed.. here's an example.. my neighbor who used my computer 20 minutes later to place his order after mine, same exact IP6+ 64gb SG got his tracking number 2 days ago and just got his phone.. he's a regular at&t client..

I am as mad at this whole thing as much as the next guy. Yes people who ordered after me 11:52pm PST (which is almost everybody) are getting theirs before me. But the reason why is 64gb 6+ SG is the model that everybody wants so their is just not enough stock for everybody. I bet most of the orders that were filled who ordered after us are all silver and gold. All my friends were waiting to see my new iPhone so they could decide if they wanted one and now I have nothing to show. although I do understand why I am still giving you The big middle finger ATT.. But hey, at least we learned something this go around and will never deal with this again from this company......

I'm still waiting on a gold 64 GB 6+.... ordered through premier at 3:03 AM ET. So it's not just SG people that are getting the shaft.
 
its a bait and switch they site said one thing and nothing was ever delivered. such as first come first served, which as we've learned is not true

Yes, they leave a note. FedEx just dropped my wives off and didn't even have me sign. He knocked on the door and by the time I got there he was half way to the truck and had left the box at the door.

Wow. Didn't know Fedex was facilitating mail order brides!
 
I don't give a ******* if I receive an iPhone today what I care about is that AT&T should at least have the courtesy tell us when is it going to ship our iPhone's so we don't go online every five minutes to refresh our status or bank account for any updates, it's pissing me off.

They don't know when the phones are going to ship because they don't have them yet. The 6 plus is back ordered now, and Apple is all sold out. Our phones don't exist yet, and will be fulfilled when supply catches up with demand-which is impossible to know. AT&T is waiting now just like us.

I waiting on a Silver 64GB. I'm in the dreaded 10/2 range of doom. No tracking or emails of any kind since it moved to that date (I had been back a week at first).
 
When I talked to billing today, the CSR told me that all online orders, even those with individual accounts were considered Premier orders. In other words she said their whole web order system is Premier.

I had called billing to ask her if my account showed a pending Next instalment for my next billing period which starts around Oct 8. She said there was a pending charge but that it would not show up if the phone is not activated.
 
Sounds like most people want a 6+ more than they want to make ATT hurt.

Otherwise you're basically admitting that they haven't crossed a line yet and people will still tolerate them as long as they get their product (even within a reasonable period of time).

Plenty of people on these forums have said in the past few days that they've canceled with ATT over this debacle/shoddy customer service and went on to other carriers.

And I'm saying this as an ATT customer, too. I'm annoyed at ATT, yes. My order was processed at 08:55 UTC (guess that's international-speak for 03:55 CDT) and while my order has bumped up twice from 10/31-11/11 to 10/2-10/13, my order status has remained the same since the 12th with no tracking updates as of now.

I've got work at 14:30 so I can't sit around the house all day seeing if it'll arrive and just having ATT give me a tracking number would be a great consolation.

You are absolutely right, at this moment, more people would rather get their Iphone6+ they preordered than to cancel their order. I really wish I could, but the truth is, I've spent way too much time and effort into this to just cancel right now. It's grimey as hell that ATT knows this and just telling us to **** off, and that's where my problem comes in. If they actually cared at all, at least publicly state there was a mistake and they will do everything they can to remedy the issue, yet all they could tell us is 'Go ahead and Cancel, we dare you'. **** that, that is no way to run a business and I learned my lesson, **** them and once my contract is up, I will be switching to Verizon even if it kills me.
 
I to went through the pre order process, with an original ship date of 7 to 14 days. Never got an email to confirm, ship date is October 13 to 22. So I figured I needed to go to att store to get 1, got there at 3:40 pm yesterday was first in line my daughter was second and we both walked away with them at 8 this morning ( me a 64 gig space grey and her a silver 64 gig both 6+). There were about 40 people in line and only 15 6 pluses, there were a lot of bummed people. My son waited 8 hours in line and at 7:40 this morning they told them they had no 6+. I swear I've never seen more of a bunch of whiners than the people on this thread. Ps the 6+ is all I thought it to be!!!

Try being in the 11/9-11/27 "Range of Doom". Other than getting an order confirmation at 11:49AM CST on 9/12, and the "you're going to pay us a fee for that 2yr contract" sms on Wednesday, the date hasn't flinched and I haven't received any other communications.
 
Looks like there are 4 more flight of phones heading to Louisville in the next few hours. We won't get them today, but maybe we don't have to wait until the 2nd or whenever. Keeping fingers crossed.
 
Sounds about right. Really its BS they only offer 1 model w/o the ugly azz white front. I hate that crap and the only way to avoid it is with SG. I would have gladly taken Silver with a black front.

what really pisses me off is I got an otterbox. so I don't care what color, if I would have known this I would have went gold or silver....This whole thing sucks, its my first pre order and at least I learned....Always going with Apple even if the site is down for hours, always going with Apple!!!

I placed my order at 11:50 pm 9/11 PST a 64gb g+ GOLD and still haven't gotten it. So its not only the 64 gb SG. I am in the 10/2-13 group. The CEO's assistant told me everyone who ordered on the 12th is in the same October group. How wonderful is that. Doesn't matter that we were the first ones in because of a screw up again by Premier's outdated system.

SG shipped just a much as gold and silver, mostly 64GB models, and yeah no **** not every single one. They are ******** of people waiting for their gold/silver model, just as many as SG. I apologize for my anger, it isn't towards you, just the fact that other people who ordered late received those precious few phones while we get left in the dirt.
 
For those saying they're gonna jump ship from AT&T to another carrier, you're really gonna give up you spot in line to get in the back of another carrier's line because you couldn't have it today?

I'm not getting mine today and its a real disappointment but seriously? You're gonna get behind all those that have ordered over the last week? I can see if you find one locally, but to reorder and expect anything different than what you currently expect let alone not worse?


It's just a phone so I can do without it. It's the principal of it.
 
So we are obviously not getting our phones today. For the 10/02 people when do you think ours will arrive? So pissed that my neighbor (not premier) got hers today (same GB, color, size as ordered) even though she placed her order 6 hours after me. Makes absolutely no sense. But now I just want to know is my phone really not being shipped for another 15-25 days? 10/02-10/12
