I ordered at 8:45 Hawaii time (6 hours behind EST). Iphone 6+ 64gb Gold. Got confirmation right away. Highly disappointed when it said ship time was 10/2-10/13 but figured it wouldnt be so bad. A few days later the date pushed to 10/13-10/22! I almost canceled but later in the day check again and it was back to 10/2-10/13.

Last night all stores were sold out of what i wanted. This morning i checked on apple and seen there were some available. Called att right away to cancel my order. The lady was happy to help but then told me she couldnt because the phone was in the warehouse for shipping. Spent an hour talking to her and she was trying to come up with something but nothing. My husband called back and talked to someone else to see why it was going to be sitting in the warehouse for a couple weeks before heading out but the guy said he didnt know and that he couldnt change anything.

Been stalking my account online like crazy and just 10 minutes ago i got a shipping number from fedex and my phone will be here Monday! Im still very disappointed in att and will remember this next year but im happy its finally on its way!
 
Reading the 190+ pages on this thread paid off for me...

I took the advice from other posts several pages ago after looking on the Apple website and noticing that several local Apple stores had the 6+ in stock. I quickly cancelled my Premier order on the AT&T website (which had a 10/2-10/13 delivery date despite placing my order at 12:06am PT on 9/12) and placed my order on the Apple website for same-day in-store pickup, since it only took 1-2 minutes for my upgrade eligibility to be restored! I'm picking up my 6+ 64GB Space Gray in a few hours.

Lesson learned... order directly from Apple in the future! Apple can also process shared upgrades by selecting the phone which is eligible for the upgrade online, then switching to a different phone on the same mobile share plan at the Apple store. Hope others are able to get their phones sooner this way too.

Wonder what the final numbers will be on returns for the Plus and regular version...if they had ample stock of the Plus wonder if the numbers would have been really messed up.
 
Did you try to cancel but wasn't able to? If so that's a good sign! Others on here tried and soon after got their tracking numbers which explained why they couldn't.

I still haven't heard a peep from ATT...

Ordered through ATT Premier, 9/12/14 @ 12:05 am pst - 128g iPhone6+ space grey

Received email with PDF attachments at 3:33am stating shipments will ship within 21 - 28 business days. Also with the "first come first served" statement.

Shipping dates have changed from 10/28-11/3, 11/3-11/27 and now have settled at 10/2-10/13.

Cancel pre-order button disappeared for a few days but is now back.

Had 3 pending charges to my Amex for $1.00 but they have since disappeared.

Now have pending monthly charges to my ATT next account for $54.58.

No further texts or emails since 9/12, no shipping notices and nothing showing up on UPS or fedex and the 877 number says back ordered. :-(

Very possible it couldn't cancel because it's in process at the warehouse. May just not have a FedEx number and truck assigned to it yet. There was a comment a few pages ago about trying to cancel and not being able to. A few minutes later they got a tracking number... GOOD LUCK!
 
Guys, if you ordered the morning of 9/12, DO NOT cancel your preorder! I had lost all hope and was close to doing it myself, but I got tracking a couple hours ago for Monday delivery! Just be patient.

All's well that ends well, but this whole mangled preorder process will keep me from ordering through AT&T ever again. Mine should be here Monday as well.
 
I have a tracking number for my 6+ silver 64gb. Delivery for Monday. Did not get a text or email. Just logged onto att to check and it was there. Still waiting for my 6+ gold 64gb. No info on it yet.

Same here! I just checked on the ATT website: a silver 64gb 6+ (for the Mrs.), shipped by Fedex for delivery on Monday from FW,TX. I did get an email from ATT about it this evening though. Meanwhile a SG 64gb 6+ (for me) still says "Preparing to ship". Hoping that one changes to shipped very soon. Preordered on the 12th, approximately 3:10am EST, as upgrades with the Next plan, the silver first then minutes after the SG. I also am on premiere which I wasn't aware of because of my FAN discount I suppose.

I'm going to guess that it means the ball is rolling. I'd give it a day or two before you try to cancel again. I'll bet you get tracking info soon...

thats sucks i haven't got anything either, I'm just sitting here wondering whats going on. i can't even cancel my order, i want to so badly and got to my local store for apple and att but i don't want to be disappointed

anyway just got an email from ATT @ 7:30 pm that my order shipped!

They're shipping and getting new ones all the time.

3 of you with iPhone 6+ 64GB SG orders just moved up... I just called ATT and canceled 3 orders through them. So fed up with this company. I called the apple store and was so pleased to hear the business specialist say he could service my account now. They are currently out of stock, but he went on talking about how their inventory would always be the first to be replenished because it is their product. He said.... "Give me a couple of DAYS", not months!!!! Goodbye ATT, I will work through apple from now on.

my cancel button wasn't on my status page and i couldn't find it. i was Going to have a Rep to do it but i refuse to let this thing go to waste

I don't even have the option on the premier site to cancel anymore. It's greyed out not.

Mines like that. It's supposedly the SIM card.
 
FYI--everyone needs to put their hands on the Plus to make sure it's not too big for them. I used it to make 2 calls and answer an email and went straight back to the Apple Store to swap it out.

Agreed. I think a lot of people are going to be surprised. I got my case today (but no phone yet). I wanted big and this is ALMOST too big. Yeah, there will DEFINITELY be some compromises but overall I think I'm going to like having the larger phone.

I would guess that is your SIM card. If so, that's a great sign!

yeah I'm still in preparing for shipment. the one theory that i have is most ppl that order and are waiting for tracking numbers, like i think our information about the model, color, and GB everyone place is still in there and they are waiting for more iPhone with those orders to come from china.
