AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

How many of you here that received your phone or at least your shipping tracking numbers received a text from ATT to submit a review about att's service and recommending them?

"How likely are you to recommend AT&T services to a friend or family member - on a scale from 10 (definitely) to 1 (definitely not)?"

My response was

"To tell you the truth I'm not recommending att at all to anyone due to my recent iPhonr 6+ order that was placed at 11:43pm on the 11th. Still no shipped phone or tracking. I'm pissed off like many on the macrumors site under the ATT premiere iPhone forum. Not a happy customer. So a zero

No tracking #. I ordered a SG iPhone 6 plus 64GB on 9/12/14 at 12:45AM PST. I still have 10/2 expected ship date.

Had a 10/2 date on mine after ordering 30 min after preorders started. Just cancelled it because some stock showed up in the Omaha Apple Store, and since I'm here for the Miami-Nebraska game I reserved on in store. Can't reserve on ATT next tho, so I reserved with 2 year contract and I'll figure it out later ....

Still waiting....

I was one of those that ordered before midnight EST on the 12th, 6+ gold 16 gig and I still have nothing, dead in the water with the 10-2 to 10-13. There are no big ATT stores here in SE MO, it would be a 150 mile drive to just get to a decent sized Best Buy and I'm sure that they sold out Friday like every other store around here. I am a premier customer, my cancel order button is still there so who knows how much longer I will have to wait.

It really burns me seeing all these folks getting their phones when they ordered hours after I did.....:( Waaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are all premier I'm pretty sure though no consumer in those models

I bailed on mine also. Barton Creek store in Austin had 128 SG 6+ for pickup. I paid for a contract price but have to switch to Next plan also ... Hopefully I can do that in store. I have 6 lines on mobile share so it would be a costly mess if I switched to a contract plan.

Are in store pickups available at the start of the day? I have to drive 1.25 hrs to get there so was planning on starting early to get there at opening.
 
Anyone from Los Angeles/SoCal get shipping confirmation today?? I ordered 11:45 PST and still no tracking for my 64GB Space Gray 6+
 
On the same waiting boat. 3:10 and 3:21am EST Premier Gold\SG 6+. Still 10/2-10/13. No tracking. I feel like I should be next. It's annoying that during iPhone 5 preorders I did go with Apple but my piss poor Time Warner connection prevented me from placing my preorder immediately (Apple site wouldn't load and refreshed two hours with partial shopping cart success til finally it went through) so my phone didn't arrive for about 5 business days after the release date. I had ordered my wife's 8 hours later and her iPhone 5 didn't arrive for 3 weeks after release. I just can't win at preorders. Worse is that neighbors that don't even try for a preorder get theirs every damn time on release day at our local AT&T store but how much ya want to bet if I took off work to wait in line with them I still wouldn't get one on release day. Lol I'm just doomed to never get new iPhones on release day ever again. That's the universe testing my patience. Lol

So now that my iphone5 is out if contract how do I get it unlocked? Do I bring it to the AT&T store with the iPhone 6+ (when it shows up) and they can unlock my 5? I assume the 5 still has to be an active phone for unlocking to work. I would prefer to sell it unlocked so when I sell it the phone can be used on other GSM carriers.

You can ask for the unlock by either calling AT&T or through their website. Once they do their part, you have to restore your iPhone through iTunes and then it will be unlocked.

Pre-ordered 64g iphone plus gray.

Got my order in at 11:57PM Sept, 11th

Next day was told I had a 14-21 BUSINESS day wait.

Just got an email this morning with tracking info from FedEx telling me it is in transit and should be at my house here in Portland by Monday at 8pm.

Very excited!

So to distract myself from the agony of the wait.... what kind of cover are you getting? And are you going to bother with a screen cover? I've got a Spigen Protective [Neo Hybrid Series], it's thin but looks like it should do a good job with out bulking up the phone. I hate the way the Otterbox covers make the little 5's look ugly and bulky.

After just watching a 6 and 6+ plus video were they both shattered with a face down drop on concrete, I'm glad that I ordered the cover! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGxlm82hWDM

Since I am uncoordinated and super clutzy I have to get an otter box if I want it to last longer than a month I trip and fall with phones in my hand and drop them a lot lol once my phone does get here my husband said it can't leave our room where the safety of carpet is until I get my case. so lame #
 
I've been reading this thread for a while. I'm soooo frustrated. I ordered my Space Gray 64gb plus literally within the first 10 minutes of the AT&T site opening. Didn't get my confirmation email until 3:37 am. Said 14-21 days. Then it went to the end of November. Then end of October. Now it's at the 2-13. I don't even get it....how are people that ordered them way later getting them first?? I'm so frustrated. The 866 number doesn't even give me any info. It just sits there silent and then transfers me to a rep. And the 877 number tells me it's back ordered.
I'm hoping it's on one of these planes flying in in the next few days.

Anyone in my situation that's had theirs ship?

I ordered the same configuration just a bit later than you did and haven't got an update yet. I've seen multiple iPhone launches (with AT&T no less) and this year is definitely the worst.

But every time I try to open a chat, after I type in my message the chat window goes blank and I don't get anyone.

I have tracking for the 6+ 64gb silver I ordered on 9/12 at 12:20am, but nothing yet for the 664gb silver that I ordered at 12:05am. #fcfsnotreally
 
looks like at least 6 planes landing in louisville today... who knows how that inventory gets split up, but it seems like that could cover a good portion of all pre-orders from the first few hours across all the carriers.
