I have been stuck on 10/02 for the past few days with no activity.

looks like at least 6 planes landing in louisville today... who knows how that inventory gets split up, but it seems like that could cover a good portion of all pre-orders from the first few hours across all the carriers.

You'd think the inventory they had before preorders started plus the shipments of the last week, minus what Apple ships direct from China, would cover the preorder.

But who knows what's going on behind the scenes with AT&T or any of the carriers. A little explanation would go a long way though. It's baffling why they just can't release a statement that says what's happened. We ran out of boxes, we accidentally scheduled everyone's vacation on the same week, there's a new phone?, Jupiter is in the house of Virgo - whatever.

So if you're reading this AT&T anybody at alls-- What in the living hell is going on with you all?
 
Premier and on NEXT, which is what's keeping me from considering a cancel of my pre-order and doing apple store pick up. Sounds like a hassle, I could be wrong though.

I'll let you know because that's exactly what I did this morning. I had to pay for the 2 year contract through Apple to do in store pick up but other people on here have said were able to change it to Next. They just told them they want to do Next instead at the before they completed the purchase in store and they switched it without any hassle. I'm really hoping that works with no problems.
 
I had them cancel my preorder as I can walk into Apple store today and get the phone I wanted.

Anyone know how long it takes to reset your eligibility so Apple can see it at the store and be set to purchase there?
 
Ok guys I ordered on 9-12 at 3:12 am est. 12 mins after launch. Ordered a silver 128 gb 6+. I received a 10-2/10-13 delivery date last Tuesday.

Saw that an apple store near me had the model available for pick up. So I proceeded to cancel my preorder but was unsuccessful. I reserved the phone on another line of mine for $200.00 more knowing that I would return it and buy it under my line. I spent a few minutes with att chat and they basically told me that they could not cancel my order and that I would have to wait till Monday. No other info. I also received an email from apple telling me that my phone is ready.

My main issue is that I don't want to loose my grandfathered unlimited data plan and therefore am in a holding pattern.

It looks like I might just have to wait till Monday to get an anwser from the premier specialist. but that is better than 1-2 weeks

Going the apple route will void me getting my trade in for my old phone and cost me 200 buck.

In the general ATT pre-order thread it seems that some folks with an Oct 1-6 date are getting moved up to this monday-wednesday. May bode well for the next batch, which includes me at Oct 2-13 (6+, 128, gold).

Took me about 2 minutes. I do advise ordering online and using in store pick up. There may be a long line for regular people.
 
Premier customer and I have not received anything yet. Purchased 12:54am MST with confirmation 12:57am MST. Ordered a 128GB Silver 6 plus. No change on the AT&T site and no stock in the Boise Apple store. I am getting very frustrated.

Just spoke to a CSR and she told me that even though I successfully ordered and confirmed on 9/11 my order didn't process until 9/12 at 3:42am. This couldn't get handled any worse. Any way to check when my local apple store updates their inventory?
 
I did the cancel and order through Apple for local pickup option finally.

Question I have is I had to do the 2 year agreement to reserve it online. Do you know if when I go to pick it up in the Apple Store will I have the option of just buying it outright instead? I don't want the 2 year commitment.

I think it's just a hold on your account to reserve it but won't go through until the whole transaction takes place in the store. I've heard people having the ability to change to next program in store. Even if they have to transact it as a returned item, then re-purchase through next program. If this is possible, this is so much a better process than att's pre order fiasco. I ordered within mins of launch for 6 + 64GB SG and didnt get any shipping notification as of yesterday morning. Decided to cancel and try my luck with apple. Lo and behold, they had one avail in store stock at about 8pm last night. I'm going to the store later today to pick it up and try to switch to next.
 
I ordered my iPhone 6+ 128gb silver at 2:12am central time. I had a shipping date of 10/13-10/22. Then it moved to 10/2-10/13. Has been that way ever since. I had called 611 to check my status through there it had said backordered. I checked last night and it had said my order is processing. Am I close to getting it!? Has anyone checked the status of their order through 611?

That's what happened to me yesterday. Once it went from backordered to processing on the phone, it shipped a couple hours later.

I cancelled my order online via chat and it was literally instant.
 
Anyone else have something like this pop up on the order status screen?

I have no idea what this order is from? I tried to cancel my preorder earlier, but the request was denied as I posted above here.

This first order for 9/20 in the pic was not there until a few hours ago. '

I also tried canceling my "Premier" order yesterday to no avail. Shortly afterwards, my order changed to include an additional order starting with the letter "b". This occurred around 2:30 - 3:00 yesterday afternoon. I thought maybe it was a good sign and expected to see some "shipping" information. Still nothing.... Did you ever get your shipping information?
