Are we sure that people received track #'s today? I know for sure Saturday but I didnt get my confirmation until about noon pacific time.

Damn you're way ahead of most of the orders. I actually don't think I've seen one today who ordered that early. AT&T is really a pile of crap.

Yes they posted on the forum. Their tracking showed they would receive the phone on Tuesday.
Yep, which makes me even more sad to see people who ordered hours and hours later to receive theirs.
I got a tracking number yesterday for a 128 SG 6+ for delivery on Monday... it had a 10/2-10/13 date just prior to that.
Still waiting on shipment for a 64 Gold 6+, still has 10/2-10/13 date.

Still nothing, getting discouraged. Feel like arizona didn't get that many period. All stores I have called barely got any and the apple stores (5 of them within driving distance) have never shown any, even 16s available for pick up and I've been checking relentlessly.

I'm in the 02/13-02/22 range, placed the order around 6am EST and got email 20 mins later on release day. 64 GB silver 6 + through premier. Past couple of midnights been checking the inventory online and the stores near me don't have any 64 GB or 128 GB in stock (any color) only places 80-100 miles from me have some stock of the 128 gb.
By the looks of things, I'll probably wind up getting my phone in the date range specified. I kinda seriously doubt my local AT&T stores will have much stock of the 64 GB variety.

I just spoke to an AT&T Rep on the 877-782-8870 line. After the automated system said I was "backordered", I waited for about ten minutes to speak to someone.
I made it a point to be very nice to the Rep. I specifically stated that I understand he's got to put up with a lot of angry people who are venting at him. But that I was aware that he was not the cause of any of my issues and I would not do so. He appreciated my being polite.
I asked him for the time AT&T shows my order was processed. I ordered at about 3:15am on 9/12 (6+; Space Gray; 128GB). He initially only told me my pre-order showed as 9/12 but I pushed a little bit and explained why I wanted the processing time. (Since AT&T is using that to determine order fulfillment.)
I suspect he had to go to another screen or some such to get that additional info. But since I didn't tick him off, he did. While I didn't get the text message congratulating me on my order being processed until 9:37am on Saturday 9/13, AT&T apparently shows the order processing time as 10:16am on 9/12.
So, now I have (what I consider) a rough idea of where I stand in the queue. Since none of the Apple Stores near me have ANY 128GB 6 Plusses in ANY color in stock, I have to sit and wait.
I keep telling myself "It's just an iPhone. My 5s still works beautifully. This is a very small grain of sand on the beach of life. Et cetera... But the little voice inside me shouts back (and it sounds like Smeagol/Gollum) "We wants it, my precious, we wants it NOW!"
Your order time and text message times reflect mine almost exactly. Though I ordered a 16GB SG. Wonder if ours will ship soon?...

8 More planes came in last night (3 more than usual) I would expect another wave soon but maybe not today.
A number of people have mentioned their email confirmation times... I am led to believe that has less to do with the fulfillment sequence than the time the order completed processing by AT&T. This is based on what many folks on these fora have reported.

Got my notice it was ready at 11:35 this morning to pick up. Apple has this process down to a science in contrast to ATT. Planning to head there after the early games. Maybe I'll see you there
