Well after this fiasco with AT&T I have had it with them.

I am a premier member.

Ordered 12:10am and received confirmation 4:05am on the 12th. 6+ SG 64G.

Talked with them on the phone and can't cancel the order. They can't change my account back to a personal account because they can't cancel the order.

They have said they can't do anything nor help with anything with my account until the order delivers. Including canceling my account.

I will be traveling extensively starting this week and will not be able to receive any packages for about two months so there is no hope with getting it.

I expressed my feelings about how that they will not let premier accounts do anything without AT&T doing it. And because of that think it is ridiculous to see non premier members get pre orders as well as them selling them in store and basically have their middle finger high up in the air to the rest of us.

I am lucky that I am not locked to AT&T for any reason.

With that in mind I will be switching my service back to VZ(which I was with before AT&T and the iPhone being introduced.) I will goto pickup a phone directly from the apple store and port my number over. I told the AT&T rep that I was going to do this and she didn't care. Then hung up on me.

What is stupid is that I can port my number over to a different carrier which will probably blowup the AT&T computer system because it won't understand how to cancel the account because there is an order in the system that can't cancel.

My wife's 6+ 64gb Silver shipped yesterday and an extra order number never appeared.

I mean I HOPE and PRAY your right.. but just wanted to point that out.

I tried this morning, was going to head to apple.. but in the process of canceling, the phone was no longer available. I thought all hope was lost.. and while smashing my head into my desk, I got an email that the cancellation was denied.

Now I have an extra B order number.

You are correct. My wife's just shipped and no extra order numbers ever appeared.
 
This morning I woke up and checked the Apple Store Online to see if they had any SG 128 for pickup. They did to my surprise! I cancelled my ATT Pre-order and immediately tried to put my order in with Apple for pick up. It literally took no more than 2 minutes from when I cancelled to when my upgrade was available again. When the email showed up in my inbox was effectively when my upgrade was available to me again. Completed my order with Apple for pick up today and will go get my phone today once Apple notifies me its ready for pickup.

Its been a long strange trip with ATT. I can say I won't pre-order with them again but when I ordered with them it was driven by troubles with Apple's website. Anyway, maybe I will maybe I won't; at this point I'm just happy I'm getting my phone with the configuration, storage, and color I wanted before October!

Good luck everyone. Keep your eyes on the apple store if that's an option for you. If it's not, well there's one less pre-order standing (potentially) between you and your phone...

Edit:

The Premier cancellation isn't a clear process. Clicking the button takes you back to the screen where you input order # and zip; it doesn't tell you anything. I did this 3 times before I realized I was getting emails with links to confirm my cancellation. Guess I should have read the text in the model when I clicked cancel ;)

I may have actually seen you there today. I went in and just got mine. There were a few extra hurdles with changing the contract plan to AT&T's next plan. They basically had to return the phone to store inventory at which time it was susceptible to anyone in the store picking it up right away electronically. The sales associate had not done this before but he was helped along and was very helpful overall. They had to return the phone, invalidate the Sim card at the same time, and re-order the phone in my name with a new Sim card.all in all not a great hassle at all. I had to drive up an hour and a half from San Antonio but that was the hardest part.

Good luck everybody and hopefully when you see a phone come up in your area you can cancel with AT&T and do an in-store pick up like I did just like others as well. Even switching over to a next plan from a contract plan was no big deal.

Anyway, I'm in Nebraska and I haven't received anything yet on the order of my iPhone 6 Plus- 64GB Space Gray. I got the confirmation email at 4:06AM CST and I completed the order at approximately 2:45AM CST - about 2 minutes after the site became available.

Oddly, I got 2 confirmation texts, five minutes apart, saying that my order had been processed. After this, I have heard nothing, even from AT&T chats.

Yes, I am a "premier" customer and I ordered using the 2-year commitment discount.

Wondering if anyone in the same area has the experience, or if their's has been shipped. Mine has not, nor do I have the second order, for the SIM card.

I tried checking stock in Omaha (I live in Lincoln), but to no avail. I had the phone shipped to my work place, too. :(

My co-worker has received his, and it's amazing. I just really want mine now - would be really nice along-side my OnePlus One :)

PS - I should note that my experience has been, overall,very positive for the past 6 years with AT&T. They've never screwed me over before. I got my iPhone 4 thought the store once it was there, I got my iPhone 5 through Apple, then got a Galaxy S5 for full retail through AT&T - where I got the phone right away, even after launch. This is odd, though...
 
Well I have one Space Gray 64GB Plus to be delivered tomorrow

Two others, 16/64gb Space Gray Plus still lost in the sauce of the 10/2-10/13 date.

I got my confirmation at 5:07 eastern when I ordered at 3:45 eastern. I got two texts at 9:08 am and 9:38 am on 9/13 saying my order processed. Nothing since then.
 
SHIPPED!!!!!!!!!! Phones are DEFINITELY shipping today, SO START REFRESHING!!!

128GB 6+, Silver, Premier Customer, Ordered at 3:15ish, emailed confirmation at 6:57AM est, texted at 9:01AM that ordere had processed!!!

As of last night at 3AM it was processing. Checked it at 11AM, still processing, checked it just now, BOOM! Shipped! Delivery Tuesday! :D

iphone 6+ 16gb, ordered mine at 2:01 CST wayy before you and got the confirmation emails soon after, I'm in he 10/2-13 group with Preparing to ship for days now with no tracking number no nothing. I feel your pain.

Ordered same phone as you a couple minutes before you did. Not shipped for me either.

If you log into att.com (not the premier site), and go to your orders page, you will now see two orders there - one for the SIM card and one for the actual phone (you might need to expand the orders row by clicking on the '+' next to the phone order).
