Woke up this morning to a fedex email with a tracking number to be delivered tomorrow.

Ordered a 128GB 6+ Silver on 9/12 at midnight. Ship date as of yesterday was 10/2.
 
Finally shipped!

Lurker, but wanted to provide a data point. Can't get to Google Docs at work, so can't update spreadsheet, but:

AT&T Premier
6+ gold 64GB
I'm in Virginia
Ordered from AT&T site ~3:15am EDT 9/12, order confirmation email not received until 4:25 AM EDT
Initial web page order confirmation had blank dates for expected shipping/delivery
Order confirmation email said 14-21 business days to ship
Order status page showed:
11/9 - 11/22 (same as new orders showed at the time, so bogus info) for a while, changed to 10/16-10/27 then changed again to 10/2 - 10/16 last week (on 9/17 maybe?) and stayed that way. Since at least Friday (when I started paying attention to the words) it had said "Preparing for shipment"

Got text and email Sunday 9/21 4:05p EDT that it had shipped, FedEx tracking shows it was received in DFW at 1:31p local time, hasn't moved as of Monday midday, showing expected delivery by Tuesday evening 9/23/14.

Looks like they had a problem with those of us who ordered in the first hour and used our order confirmation times (4:25am EDT for me) instead of when we actually ordered to determine our place in line. Would have been nice to get it on Friday, but I'll take Tuesday.

If AT&T wasn't offering the guaranteed $200 trade-in on a working 4S, I'd have ordered from Apple, and I will next time too. But with a small chip on the bottom edge of my otherwise-undamaged and working phone, that's about $75 that AT&T is going to "pay" me for waiting Friday-until-Tuesday (assuming I could have gotten in through the Apple Store app for Friday delivery)
 
Does anyone who ordered the 64 SG have a different status than backordered when you call the order status number? My status page says preparing to ship and Im just trying to figure out if what it says on the phone even matters.

If it goes from "backordered" to "processing" on the phone, your order is going to ship today.

Why Launch a product you don't have??

Apple should have waited until they had product to sell!
 
Just had a depressing thought, when this thread becomes a ghost town except for the last two people who haven't got their phones. Bound to happen. Just hope I'm not one of them. :p

Lukebrodyg, I think we are the only ones that ordered the SG 16gb ! lol, and still hasn't shipped :mad: My wifes Silver 6+ 16gb shipped Saturday! It is going to be here shortly, with mine no where in sight! *sigh*

I'm sorry but I do take comfort in knowing that I'm not alone.
 
Dunno if this will help anyone....but I called AT&T and told them I wanted to cancel my order and go elsewhere bc of this nonsense. I told her that it was a total loss for me to have ordered with AT&T since (1) all premier people were screwed *initially* and (2) I saw a thread where Apple orderers were able to call Apple and get free leather cases ahead of receiving their 6+ to make it suck a little less for them during the waiting game process.

She immediately offered us (2) leather cases of our choice for our 6+'s that will likely be here before our friggin phones. ...doesn't make up for their hot mess of a system - but it is nice to know we have $100 worth of cases to put our phones immediately in for free...

same...if it wasn't for that dang $200 for both mine and my husband's phones - I'd go elsewhere. And the fact that they just gave me the free leather cases. We have to be soon...we have to! It's reassuring seeing yours shipped!
 
YAY!! AT LAST!! ... 6+ 64GB SB ordered via premier site on its way! Ordered 2:46am CDT on 9/12 ... coming to Nashville, TN. Had checked premier site & myAT&T all weekend & even early this am but just now logged in & saw shipped notice on myAT&T site w/ FEDEX tracking number!! Premier site still shows pending shipment with cancel preorder option ... the status on that site always seemed to run behind. So excited to get my + ...:D

What was your processed time?

They actually use when your order was processed to put in line for a device. When was yours? I ordered at 11:52pm pst but didn't get processed till 9am..

I'm in the same boat. Mine said backorder when I call as well. Same model, color and GB. Non-premier.
 
credit/bank charges

I just looked at my credit card statement to see if my charges went from pending to charged. Well, the pending amount is gone and no charge at all anywhere on my billing activity. Anyone else have any issues with this? I'm a little discouraged. TIA
