Hey all just an update:

I received a call from Erica, a Customer Relations Assistant. I explained the situation many of us have seen, where our order times and shipping confirmation weren't reflecting FCFS. I referenced this thread for others who experienced the same thing. Erica informed me that they did have issues with premier. There was a latency in their system that caused all orders through premier to be entered manually. She said the time the order was submitted online doesn't reflect the time it was processed.

I asked what time my order was processed, and was shocked to find that it wasn't put through until nearly 6 hours after I submitted online. I told her that was unacceptable and that regardless of how their system failed orders should have been submitted for the time they were received.

She said, "We aren't sure what caused the problem. We are investigating. We do know that we messed up and that the combination of a failure in our system and low inventory has left some customers upset."

I asked what can be done to make it right, and she told me essentially nothing. I told her I have screenshots with time and date stamp of when my order was submitted online. She asked me to send those to her and she would see about "pushing up" my order or compensating me.

Just wanted to share that, as it's really the first time I've heard of an ATT official admitting we messed up. Doesn't make things better but it's satisfying to hear that they are aware of the issue.
 
The Apple App store won't let me select a full price option for the iPhone. If I do Next, it won't let me do an instore pickup? What am I doing wrong?

The shipping dates we have posted are the dates we were given the day before launch. You will most definitely get your phone before 10/2. In fact I can "pretty much guarantee you that your phone will ship this week"

For whatever that is worth. Meanwhile my husband shows me all the cool features on his regular 6. Trying to be patient. But I am the one who got up at 1:55am to order and sat up tlll 3:40.

.... And then I woke up.. Must have dozed off for a minute. Still pending shipment. No orders have shipped since this AM. Just going to face the facts. Our orders are probably going to all be pushed back when this low inventory is made worse by the iPhone 6 plus being released GLOBALLY in the next day. Hoping I get it for Thanksgiving so I can Instagram my Turkey.

Ahhhhh. I'm in Chicago too but I ordered a SG. That makes me feel a little better though. I thought they just forgot about Chicago haha

That's great if they can help you, but THEY SHOULD BE PUSHING ALL OF US UP TO FIX THIS ****ING PROBLEM!!!

It's TRUE someone posted Apples ad here yesterday. Google it. That's why I think we will start getting pushed back and wait even longer. God I hope I'm wrong.

You know we've been busting on ATT (AND RIGHTLY SO for the FCFS fiasco) but why Apple didn't anticipate the HUGE DEMAND the biggest iPhone ever would have is beyond me. Why did they not have a massive stock already ready to go for the 6+ as they did and do for the 6 is beyond me.
 
I'm premier indiana 64gb space gray 6+ still nothing. Ordered 3:05 am confirmation came at 5:45 am. Still at 10/02-10/13. I'm losing all hope.

Indiana here too. Ordered at 3:34am confirm came it 5:09am. 64GB silver. Same status
 
I'm just almost beside myself that they ****ed us over this hard with these orders that had to be manually entered SEVERAL hours later than the beginning of pre-order.

DAMN IT

And now that I've been playing this stupid dance with them since 9/12, it's actually (in theory) FASTER to wait this ******** out than to try to get it any other way (the 6+ is in extremely limited supply in Indiana). Apple.com still says 3-4 weeks to ship, and now depressingly 10/2 is "only" 10 days from now.

Of course, it could also be as late as 10/13, I suppose..... yet that's still then 21 days, versus 21-28. *shoots self in head* :/

Again, it comes down to failing to do what they promised to do: FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. They COMPLETELY screwed us over in that respect.
