Called att and complained and got a $25 credit

I went on the chat and explained my situation, the rep said "they would love to apply a credit to my account" but there are far too many customers. She was not trying to provide insight on the situation and even lied to me by claiming that my order processed almost 24 hours after I placed it (my order started Sept 11th 11:58) even though i have the confirmation emails and text that proved they processed less than 9 hours after i placed it. total waste of time.

My AT&T 6+ 64GB SG is offically on its way. I just got a text message and email from AT&T with tracking information via FedEx.

I preordered via Premier on 9/12 and got conformation email at 2:13am (CST). I have been waiting ever since then.... The ship date has bounced aruond like everyone else and it finally settled on 10/2-10/13. That was until this afternoon. I have been into AT&T stores and the local Apple store throughout the weekend just seeing what I could do and of course nobody had any 6+ models in stock. I actually got a kick out of seeing what BS that I could get out of the AT&T employees it was pretty entertaining. Anyways I hope that everyone else with SG preorders gets a tracking number today!!

BTW, I live in Oklahoma and the shipping information link that I got is showing the ship date of 9/22 and delivery of 9/23. Apparently it is originating out of Memphis.

I have just received a canned response from AT&T "Office of the President." I have replied with the details they have requested.

I've never understood people who accept bad service when they are given something free. All I want is what was advertised. Giving me a bill credit or some free swag doesn't get me what I want; a gold 64gb iPhone 6 Plus. I'm happy to pay the $849 for it, just honor your "first come - first served" commitment.

That is what I have been thinking every time I read a post on here. At least at this point I can relax and know that it is on its way. If AT&T had of jsut had this all sorted out from the get go then I would have been fine waiting the extra days. Just tell me up front... "hey, we screwed up. You will get your phone on 9/23"

That would mean that AT&T would have to admit to being wrong and We all know that isnt going to happen. Wishful thinking I guess.

Now starts the countdown to the fedex delivery. I am going to be completely useless for the rest of today and tomorrow at work :D

By now you have heard the many stories of AT&T customers who pre-ordered their iPhone 6 Plus from AT&T, only to be told to expect their phones many weeks after launch day, while those that ordered later are seeing their phones delivered sooner, many are receiving them today. Unfortunately I am one of those unfortunate customers that is not receiving a phone today, my order was acknowledged via email at 03:22 AM CDT September 12, 2014. Currently my order shows an expected shipping date of between Oct 13 - Oct 22. The reason I ordered my phone in the middle of the night on pre-order day was due to the fact that AT&T advertised a "first come, first served" policy. Based on what I am reading online, and based on the silence of AT&T as a company with regards to this subject, this has not happened.

Why?

I have been an AT&T customer since Cingular sponsored Robby Gordon's NASCAR in 2002. I have stayed loyal to AT&T for many years. My family and I currently have three iPhone and one iPad plan with plans to add another line. With all of the advertising money spent trying to attract new customers, I have to ask, "What about me, the loyal customer?" I pay my bills on time. We buy new phones every year. Do I not matter? I do not plan to cancel my AT&T service, I like your products and your coverage, but this behavior is not consistent with a company that bills itself as World Class.

I expected a phone in a few days, not a few weeks. I hope that AT&T can do better in the future.

I have been with AT&T a long time too, Since '98, but back then in this area is was Cellular One, which was bought out by AT&T, which Was bought out by Cingular, which was bought out by AT&T.

But you would think that after about 16 years with the same phone number, bill always on time, and no laps in service that my account would be tag as "Super Dedicated Customer" or something.

Funny thing is my account is so old, everytime i have a line added no one at the store can do it. I have to wait for the guy that's been there for 10 years to go into the ancient mainframe system that no one knows how to use, and add the line there.

Seems their current system will not let them add a line to my account because i pay my bill for last month usage where the billing system today (and last 10 years or so) charges everyone for next months service in advance.

I have been told many of times in store when i change something that I will have to have my account cancelled, line transfered to a new account. For which I would have to pay 2 months of services upfront (last months, and this months). I simply go to another store that has someone with the old skills to do it for me.

My hubby's IP6+ is here, activated with no problem. Mine and our cases will get here tomorrow.

Can just say that the IP6+ is huge!!! Holy toledo!

Has ANYONE gotten their phone early yet, and provided proof of it? I feel like the wait is ridiculous. Too ridiculous.

I saw quite a few on friday and saturday get shipped. My Wife received hers today.

All sizes and colors seem to be shipping at random with arguably no tie to what time your preorder was made or what time confirmation came through. So frustrating.
