AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Just got off the phone with premier. He said it could be next week or the week after....wish I could cancel but no Apple Store within 3 hours of me.

Received the Txt at 7:06am
email came in at 8:25am

I have many Apple stores within an hour or so of me. Not a single Verizon or AT&T Plus in any configuration at any of them.

I as well as a couple of other people were told that our orders are in the system by the time stamp on the PDF you received. If it make people feel any better I work for a marketing company that sometimes deals with sms corporate texting and running a mass amount of those out the door at the same time can really span over a large amount of time. I wouldn't take much stock in the time of your text.

Here is my story:
  • Placed an order for 6+ gold 128GB around 3:40AM on 9/12.
  • Received email confirmation at 5:05AM.
  • Received two free messages from AT&T about order been processed at 10:34AM the next day (9/13).

The expected ship date has been 10/2 - 10/13 since then.

If that's the case, then it matches up with the timestamp of my confirmation e-mail (pre-ordered at 3:44am EDT; confirmation e-mail at 5:09am EDT on 09/12).

PDF from confirmation e-mail says 9:09 UTC on 09/12, which would account the time difference between EDT and UTC, which is four hours (i.e., 5:09am EDT).

Forgot to mention, Premier iPhone 6 Plus 64GB SG. Still stuck with "preparing for shipment - 10/02 -10/13" on myAtt.

"Preorder processing (with button to cancel preorder showing)" via Premier. The odd thing is that the cancel button didn't show up until this Saturday...

(877) number says backordered.

...Contemplating seeing if I can be put on Xanax again. Haha!

we ordered at the same time...
still waiting here as well. except I got my 2 texts on 9/12 8:38pm and 9/13 at 9:22am.
 
No change here. Ordered 2:58 CST received confirmation 4:41 am. Have always had shipping date of 10-2-10-13. iPhone 6 plus 128 gold. Feeling even more down than I did earlier! I guess we are finished with shipping info for the night?

In my case, I don't have a PDF. I believe this is because I'm with AT&T premier, but I don't really know.

I'm Premier and got one. It should be in your confirmation e-mail as an attachment.
 
Meanwhile, I've decided to ride it out for now, but I seriously thought about cancelling and jumping to Verizon, knowing full well I'd have to wait at least 3-4 weeks longer for my phone.

Question: Let's say I ride this out, and in two years when my contract is up I want to switch to Verizon AND simultaneously pre-order the iPhone 7+. How do I do that, get the phone ASAP, AND transfer my phone number from AT&T to Verizon? Is that easy to do? Or should I just wait until the 7+ is readily available and do it then?

64 sg + premiere ordered right at midnight and not a thing. Hasn't moved in ages. Currently 10/2. Can't catch an in store break either :(

Sigh.

Based on my conversation with premier, the timestamp of the order is not the time of the text (which appears later) but rather the time of the second email, in my case at 7:50am eastern on the 12th - almost 5 full hours after my order was placed.

Hmm.

I only got two e-mails the day of the pre-order on the 12th:

The first was from Premier, subject "AT&T: Thank You for Your Order". No PDF.

The second was from ATTOrderStatus@ordertrack.wireless.att-mail.com, subject "Your recent ATT order status". No PDF.

Then on 9/16 premier (this time lowercase P, if that matters) e-mailed me, subject "Your recent iPhone purchase with AT&T". No PDF.

So I don't know what to think about that?
