CSR's from AT&T told different customers different lies.
We had two (update now 3) people say they cancelled and went with a 6 and then listed reasons justifying the change.
Planes that landed in Alaska carrying iPhones may be headed to Russia for the global launch and not for us. (Wouldn't make much sense but nothing has seemed to make much sense yet).
The phrase, "Screw AT&T" may or may not be a verb. (this was highly departed on page 175).

IPhone 6 Plus may bend if kept in the pocket. (wouldn't know though because we don't have ours).

Lmao! Our brains are fried from this whole fiasco. I cant help but to just laugh anymore.
Still waiting 6+ 128g gold. 10-2 since beginning. Tried to go to a store to look at the plus. We even went to Competitive stores. No one had one for us to even hold! Best we got was a rep from Verizon that looked up the dimensions of the phone and found a galaxy note that he thought was about the same size. He said its gonna be about this size! That's as close as I've gotten.

Good for you! That gives me some hope since at least someone in Utah got it from AT&T. I had a friend let me hold his phone and yes it is huge. Did fit in my pocket, but now that I see pictures of bent phones I'm rethinking where I carry it.

No I'm also 64gb Gold Plus and my early pre order from ATT has not shipped. I got the $40 activation fee on my bill tho
called ATT on that and they said it goes with the order

ATT chat guru said it's 35 to 48 business days from time of order for pluses. I really do not want to believe that! Why do they always sneak that business day BS in?Put a case on it.. or don't put it in your ass pocket and sit on it for hours and you'll be fine.. or don't wear skinny jeans and sit down with it in your front pocket.
To bend it.. you'd have to have it in your pocket for some time while sitting...without a case on it. These videos you see coming out.. people are trying to bend them and make them worse. If I bent my phone on day 1.. you best believe I'd bend it to make it worse to get it exchanged.

I'm not too concerned about bendgate because I plan to put it in a case anyway. I have a cheapo wallet style that I ordered from Amazon for $8.00. It has a nice rigid plastic section that the phone snaps into. It is currently sitting on my desk and mocking me.

Last time I checked AT&T provided service 7 days per week. Therefore there are 7 business days in a week.
So, I stopped into an Apple store on the way home to play with a 6+ and also see if they had any in stock (yea right).
Anyway, I was walking out and I noticed that I had a push notification form the Apple Store app! It said I had an order waiting for me! I got really excited and thought maybe I could pick up a phone! LOL
Turns out that it was a phantom order.
I guess I will have to wait until October as well.

Some guy had to exchange 5 times. They are pumping them out so fast the quality is garbage. Lets be happy we get the second wave..

Because apparently they don't work weekends, which we all know is BS by some of our comrades got theirs shipped this weekend.
I purchased mine on NEXT and my bill cycle starts over on October 7th. If my phone has not shipped by then and they charge me my first installment payment on my October bill, I'm calling 611 and raising all kinds of hell.
I'm not paying on a status that says "Preparing to Ship". Not to be mean, but why should I pay for a phone I don't have yet?
i really was just going to see what the apple stores have and if they have the one i want I'm taking it. i never was going to settle less, the plus is my type of phone, I'm tired of getting jerked around by att and playing with their games.
