AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

I just called that number and it said something to the effect of high demand possibly causing delays and then started going into activating phones. Don't know what to think about that or make of that.

Theres a few options on the menu... activate phone... check status.. talk to a rep.. et.c Dont read into it.
 
What issues were people running into with canceling a pre-order with Premiere?

For example, say hypothetically I visit an ATT store and see that the + isn't for me and wanted to get a 6, would they be able to cancel the Premiere order in the store?
 
Maybe I can give a little hope to some folks here. I placed an order on the AT&T site at about 1:10am MST 9/12 - iPhone 6+ 128GB (gold). I received a shipping est for 10/13 - 10/22. That changed a few days later to 10/2 - 10/13. Well, yesterday (9/22) I received a shipping notice with a FedEx tracking number! The iPhone is out for delivery today! :D

Unfortunately, I think most of us here are either 16GB or 64GB Space Greys - Gold and Silver of all sizes seem to be shipping at a pretty constant rate

They are not 24 hours so you must cancel during their hours. They are also closed on the weekends so when I tried to cancel on Saturday (when my local apple store had plenty iPhone +'s is stock and ready for in store pickup I couldn't cancel). If I would have known I'd still be waiting I would have.
 
Scratch that idea. My local ATT store is out of all iPhone 6 models and, according to the dude I spoke with, they never received a single 6+!

There were actually a decent amount of tracking numbers distributed yesterday but none (possibly one) for today.

Quite a few 128 SG out here too. There were more than a few 64gb SG the other day shipping out and I was hopeful we would see more sizes of the SG out the door but that never happened. I think there may have been a couple 16gb and one or two 128s

I'm just about ready to give up hope on a delivery any time soon. Going to start telling myself mid October and move on with my life until then.

I am debating canceling my preorder and nabbing a 64GB SG 6 just because I am having a hard time finding decent bike mounts for the 6+. Since mine was a Premier Next order I am guessing from what I read that they won't let you cancel. I still have the Cancel button on my order page with AT&T.

If the cancel button is still there and active, you may be able to cancel. They'll send you a confirmation letting you know if the cancel was successful or not.

what if they took the cancel button away is that a good sign or just wishful thinking?

I wouldn't trust ATT's system to do anything it should after this debacle.

For example, even with my wife's i6, I didn't receive of formal notification from ATT until 3 days after I knew it had shipped.
 
What did I did wrong. I have seen no one with the Shipping date I have
11/09/14 - 11/27/14 (from the ATT page)
I order at 11:30 AM, on September 15th in the ATT and store
(Iphone plus grey 64g)
I tried to cancel via ATT- no luck.
I am at a loss how screwed up this is. My GF order yesterday (9/22) from verizon and has a ship date of 10-3
Jeeeeez!

I am in the same boat as you. The only difference is that I ordered mine on the 12th. Now I know my dates are messed up. Hopefully gets their act together soon.
