Spoke to AT&T Business CSR

Was told that everyone who preordered the iPhone 6 or 6+ on the 12th didn't have their orders processed until the 19th (true?). I was also told that I don't have a 101x order number. Only a N065 and EXTP order numbers. She was very helpful but I could tell that she was feeding me BS when she said that the reason my order is taking so long is because I ordered the SG version. Even though I know for a fact that many of you who ordered Silver and Gold versions are in the same boat as me.

I just wish they'd be honest and tell us what's really happening.

What does the EXTP mean?
 
I live in Northern California and ordered a silver 64GB:


  • Ordered 12:45am PDT on 9/12 on ATT because Apple Store was down.
  • Next morning the shipping estimate is 10/31-11/11.
  • Decided to go to Apple store on launch day, so I cancelled my pre-order with the button on my Premiere status page.
  • A couple days later I found out I couldn't avoid work on 9/19. I also realized that the Cancel button didn't work and my estimate was now 10/2 to 10/13. I decided to stay with AT&T.
  • Fedex picked up my phone in Memphis last night around midnight. I had set up the Fedex app to notify me, but I never heard from them.
  • Around 6:30 this morning, AT&T emails me with the tracking info. Luckily I was able to change my plans today and work from home.

As launch day approached, I was sure AT&T just had a screwed up ordering system. They would ship all those phones ordered in the early hours of 9/12, and I would get mine on time. The tracking email would come sometime later. What a cluster*** this whole process turned out to be. They're almost as screwed up as the government!

Unfortunately I'm stuck with AT&T and Premiere. I get a generous discount on my wireless bill because my last employer was very tight with AT&T. My current employer has no such deals. (Luckily AT&T is too dysfunctional to figure out when someone quits their job and is no longer eligible for Premiere!)

I am in NorCal too, ordered at 12:15 am PDT and still not shipping info. When did you get your confirmation email?
 
I just called the (877) number and my phone has in fact been shipped and scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I haven't received any shipping notification through email yet.

I did receive the Account Services Summary email this morning as well. I will now have to find something else to obsess over to avoid doing actual work. Good luck to everyone still awaiting their phone. I hope it comes soon.

Any change on the website?
 
Just got a notification text this morning from ATT notifying me that my order has SHIPPED and that it will be here tomorrow!

I'm in the same boat as many of you. I was told yesterday evening on the 877 number that my order went from "backordered" to "being processed." And then this morning I got the notification and it's being shipped via FedEx.

I'm also a 1016 order number. I'm also from the Baltimore area.
 
Starting to hate every time I get an email or text because I hope it's from att, fedex, or ups but I know it's not.
 
Mine's shipped and starts with 1016.

Also a 1016 here, Premier. It has been discussed over and over in this thread, but the first 4 of the order number doesn't appear to have much to do with it. I've seen 1012's who have shipped, 1018's that have shipped, and me at 1016 not shipping until today.

The estimated ship date is a better indicator than the order number.
 
you guys are saying your status changed on the 866 number, but what about the 877-782-8870 one? They both dont say processed i bet?

And at what point did this become a premier thread, been on here since day one and tired of seeing all these premier shipped when that has nothing to do with mine.....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

My estimated ship date is Oct 2-13 and haven't heard anything from neither Fedex nor AT&T

So mystery solved "possibly." I just spoke to Business Direct. Premier is the "backend" that is used to manage telephone numbers associated with Business accounts. IE, if you work for a business and your number is associated or you receive a discount, its managed through the Premier interface. If you did not place your order online through that backend, then your order does not get processed out of the Premier pool.

So if you're like me and you were forced to order over the phone then your phone will come out of the ATT Business Direct pool of orders. This is a different order pool than both Premier AND Consumer. ATT cannot link telephone orders with the Premier backend and you will not be able to lookup your order using the Premier interface. Only the ATT lookup will function.

1912 here and am in NJ. 64GB+ Grey. Ordered at 3:03 AM EST and got confirmation at 3:30 AM. Still stuck on the 10/2-10/13 date range on the website and back-order on the 877 number.

Order number 1626.. Same device ordered 2:50 confirmation before 3am & in the same boat as you date and 877 number wise
